Chinese history, the literati achievements are quite a lot, they have what is worth learning how to study?

Anciently, there are a lot of methods of learning about the ancients, such as: chiseling the wall to steal the light, hanging beams and stabbing the stock, smell the chicken dance, wei wei sanjie, the bag of fireflies and night readings, the hands do not release the volume, the cow horn hanging books, the eye does not peep at the garden, the Chengmen Lixue, not ashamed of the next question and so on. Ancient learning conditions are not good, there is no bright light, can only rely on their own efforts to obtain knowledge. So we are left with a lot of stories about learning, and it is worthwhile for us to learn.

The first story is about a man who stole light from a wall. There used to be a man named Kuang Heng. Kuang Heng's family was so poor that they couldn't afford to buy candles, but he was a good learner since he was a child. Although Kuang Heng's family was poor, his neighbor's family was in good condition, so Kuang Heng thought of a way, he cut a hole in the wall, and the light from his neighbor's house shone through the hole in the wall to Kuang Heng's house, and Kuang Heng relied on this ray of light to study. There was a very rich family in the countryside who had a lot of books, even though they were illiterate. Kuang Heng went to this family to help as a laborer, but he didn't want to be paid, Kuang Heng just wanted to read all the books in the family. In the end, Kuang Heng achieved a great deal through his own hard work.

The second story is about a man who woke up and danced after hearing a chicken. During the Jin Dynasty, there was a man named Zu Ti, he and his friend were very idealistic, in order to allow themselves to practice more every day, as soon as they heard the rooster crowing every day, they put on their clothes and started practicing martial arts.

The third story is about reading by night in a bag of fireflies. There was a man named Che Yin in the Jin Dynasty who also grew up with a very poor family and could not afford candles. As long as it was summer, he went to catch a lot of fireflies, put them into a light-permeable bag, and used the light of the fireflies to read.

The fourth story is Cheng Men Li Xue. In the Song Dynasty, there was a man named Yang Shi. When he went to visit his teacher, it suddenly started to snow heavily, and it happened that the teacher was sleeping again. Yang Shi waited outside the door until the teacher woke up.

The ancient people could study hard even under the bad conditions, and this kind of perseverance is most worthy of our learning.
