Characteristics of right discourse system

The discourse system of rights is characterized by emphasizing confrontation and defense, rationality, self-interest and advocating the rule of law. Power discourse means that Marx and Foucault explained the concept of power from different angles, which had a great influence on cultural studies and media studies. In Foucault's view, power means how to construct oneself as an object and influence the actions of others. Power is closely related to knowledge, which is not manifested through the guillotine and the army, but through the knowledge in every detail of daily life, which Foucault called "rule".
