Types of hanfu

The main forms of Hanfu are "deep clothing" system (upper and lower skirts are sewn together), "upper and lower skirts" system (upper and lower skirts are separated) and "short skirt" system. Among them, the crown clothing under the coat is the most solemn and formal clothing for emperors and officials; Robe clothes (deep clothes) are common clothes for officials and scholars, while skirts are popular among women. Ordinary working people generally wear short clothes and pants.

Hanfu, the full name is "traditional costumes of the Han nationality", also known as "Hanfu, Huafu and Huafu". From the accession of the Yellow Emperor to the mid-Kloc-0/7th century (late Ming and early Qing Dynasty), with the "Huaxia-Han" culture as the background and leading ideology, China's unique Chinese style and character was formed through natural evolution, which was "dressing up for the country".

Similar to the word "Han", the extension of the word "Han" in Hanfu has also expanded from the Han Dynasty to the whole national reference. For example, the earliest record of Hanfu in the manuscript of Mawangdui Tomb No.3: "There are four beauties in bamboo slips, two of whom are dressed in Chu clothes and two in Hanfu", which refers to the dress etiquette system of the Han Dynasty, that is, the crown clothing system of Zhou Li, Yi Li and Li Ji.
