Why do many people in society have high demands on women?

The society demands a lot of women, which I personally think is multifaceted, including the comprehensive influence of history, culture, social structure and gender roles.

1. Historical factors: In many societies in the past, men were usually regarded as social leaders and providers, while women were expected to assume the role of family and fertility. This traditional concept still exists to some extent, which imposes specific expectations and pressures on women.
