Examples of equal and mutual relationship between teachers and students?
Emotions are the main regulator of interpersonal relationships, and teachers can establish harmonious teacher-student relationships only if they sincerely care for each student and understand, trust, respect, and comprehend them. Teachers and students communicate well emotionally, you can achieve interpersonal tacit understanding, students in the subconscious will be able to accept the teacher's good influence, according to the teacher's expectations of development. For this reason, in the process of interacting with students, I always remind myself to think differently and listen to the students' voices.
Each student has a specific right and dignity, but also their own thoughts and feelings and needs. Teachers who have the idea of the dignity of the teacher, high and mighty, will not be able to maintain an equal relationship with the students. In classroom teaching, in order to avoid unnecessary internal conflicts, I pay special attention to students' emotional attitudes. My class is an ethnic boarding class, the overall quality of the class is much better than other classes, every class they are actively cooperate and active very much. Once, in order to let the students well grasp the character traits of the relevant characters in the historical story "Borrowing Arrows from a Straw Boat", I specially used one lesson to tell the students some wonderful clips from "Romance of the Three Kingdoms". Love of stories is the nature of children, many students are excited to smile, with the development of the storyline, students sometimes whispering, sometimes open-mouthed giggling. Obviously, they were mesmerized by the story. Only one student remained silent and somber, a far cry from his usual self. Was I wrong about him? On second thought, no. In the classroom, in front of everyone, I did not name and criticize, after class, I approached him to talk to him, he did not have the good sense to say, "Mr. Fu, I have a see to you!" When the student said the words held in his heart, I suddenly realized that the original class is addicted to basketball, every day after school, are soaked in the basketball court, not to mention the double day off. I am afraid that students play with things, waste of time, so they are prohibited from playing basketball, every day after school must be in the classroom intensive training. I never thought that because of my good intentions, the students suffered so much aggression, triggering so much resistance. The bell needs to be tied, in order to let the students to a positive attitude to engage in learning, I have seriously reflected, and finally withdrew the "no basketball" ban. In order to make amends, I also contacted a sister class for a friendly basketball match. I was pleased to find that the satisfaction and relief returned to the students' faces. Afterwards, the student wrote in his weekly notebook, "Mr. Fu, thank you for your understanding, I will grasp the balance, and never let you down on my expectations."
This incident has touched me a lot, and it makes me realize that every student is independent of the teacher's mind, and is not subject to the teacher's will to transfer the objective existence. The only way for teachers to adapt their education and teaching to the needs of their students is to treat them as independent human beings. Imposing not only can't add in, but will frustrate the students' enthusiasm, leading to the generation of antagonism, affecting the students' normal state of mind.
Because I keep trying to adapt to the different personalities of the students, sincerely help students to review and reflect on themselves, help students to establish goals that can be achieved, help students to design appropriate learning activities, to create a positive psychological atmosphere ...... so I have won the trust of the students, in helping students at the same time, but also to get the student's help. I also get help from the students while helping them. They cooperate with me to strengthen the homework, practice check supervision, cooperate with me to establish a poor student counseling group, timely feedback to me a variety of class information.
Language teachers relative to other subjects of the teacher, the workload is much heavier, every day in addition to preparing for class, write the lesson plan, but also to read all kinds of assignments, such as: copying words, sentence training, reading and analysis, comprehensive training, diary, weekly journal, a small practice, essay ...... read students' work is the teacher's job, nothing to say, but, all day long, the drill is not a good idea, but it is a good idea. There is nothing to say, but how much time do you have to read, watch the newspaper, and consult information when you are in the pile of homework all day long? In order to reverse this passive situation, I tried to look to the students, looking for assistants, with the participation of students, my burden is much lighter, I can finally squeeze out some time to do what I should do. It can be seen that the teacher-student relationship is optimized, you can achieve a mutually supportive relationship, which reduces the burden of the teacher, but also develops the spirit of student ownership.
