Distribution and characteristics of oil and gas reservoirs in China

The distribution and characteristics of oil and gas reservoirs in China: China's large and medium-sized oil fields are mainly distributed in rift basins, and large and medium-sized oil fields are mainly distributed in craton basins and piedmont basins; continental hydrocarbon-generating rocks are the main hydrocarbon generators of China's large and medium-sized oil and gas fields.

Rocks and hydrocarbon-generating rocks range from the early Paleozoic to the Cenozoic. The Paleogene and Neogene systems in the South China Sea and East China Sea, the Jurassic and Carboniferous-Permian systems in northern China are the main gas generating layers in China.

The Paleogene, Neogene, Cretaceous, Jurassic, Triassic, and Permian are the main oil-generating layers in China; the reservoirs of large and medium-sized gas fields are mainly terrigenous layers (medium sandstone, fine sandstone, and gritstone).

Its genetic type is fan delta and delta system. The carbonate reservoirs are mainly fracture type and weathering crust type. The oil and gas reservoir caprock is mainly homogeneous mudstone. The oil and gas accumulation period is relatively late. Most large and medium-sized oil and gas fields were formed in

In the Cenozoic Era, there are still considerable oil and gas reserves that have not yet been discovered in the Early Era strata.

China is rich in oil and gas resource potential. The oil and gas fields in most basins are in the early and middle stages of development. The possibility of discovering large and medium-sized oil and gas fields is very high.

Like most countries in the world, China's oil and gas reserves are mainly distributed in large and medium-sized oil and gas fields.

Since the early 1950s, my country has carried out oil and gas exploration in 82 major large and medium-sized sedimentary basins and discovered more than 500 oil fields.

The following are my country's main onshore oil producing areas.

Daqing Oilfield: Located in the west of Heilongjiang Province, in the middle of the Songnen Plain, between Harbin and Qiqihar City.

The oil field is 140 kilometers long from north to south and 70 kilometers wide at its widest point from east to west, with a total area of ??5,470 square kilometers.

In March 1960, the Party Central Committee approved the launch of the Petroleum Campaign. In 1963, a production capacity of 6 million tons was formed. It produced 4.39 million tons of crude oil that year, which played a decisive role in achieving China's oil self-sufficiency.

In 1976, crude oil production exceeded 50 million tons, becoming my country's largest oil field.

At present, Daqing Oilfield adopts new processes and new technologies to maintain crude oil production at more than 50 million tons.

Shengli Oilfield: Located in the Yellow River Delta on the coast of the Bohai Sea in northern Shandong Province, it is mainly distributed in 28 counties (districts) in 8 cities including Dongying, Binzhou, Dezhou, Jinan, Weifang, Zibo, Liaocheng, and Yantai. It is mainly exploited

Covering an area of ??approximately 4.4 square kilometers, it is our second largest oil field.

Liaohe Oilfield: Mainly distributed in the plains of the middle and upper reaches of the Liaohe River, as well as in eastern Inner Mongolia and the Liaodong Bay beach area.

26 oil fields have been developed and constructed, and 9 major production bases have been built, including Xinglongtai, Shuguang, Huanxiling, Jinzhou, Gaosheng, Shenyang, Ciyutuo, Lengjia, and Horqin, spanning 13 cities (prefectures) and 32 counties in Liaoning Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

(Flag), with a total area of ??100,000 square kilometers, and its output ranks third in the country.

Karamay Oilfield: located in Karamay City, Xinjiang.

In the past 40 years, 19 oil and gas fields have been found in the Junggar Basin and Tarim Basin, with Karamay as the main one. 15 oil and gas fields have been developed and a supporting production capacity of 7.92 million tons of crude oil has been built (6.031 million tons of light oil and 1.889 million tons of heavy oil). From 1900

Since 2006, onshore crude oil production has ranked fourth in the country.

Sichuan Oilfield: Located in the Sichuan Basin, it has a history of 60 years and has discovered 12 oil fields.

Four gas areas in the south, southwest, northwest and east have been built in the basin.

At present, natural gas production accounts for nearly half of the country's total, making it the largest gas field in my country.

North China Oilfield: Located in Renqiu City in the Jizhong Plain in central Hebei Province, it includes oil and gas production areas in Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi and Inner Mongolia.

In 1975, an exploratory well Ren 4 on the Jizhong Plain spewed out a high-yield industrial oil flow of 1,000 tons per day, and discovered the Renqiu Oilfield, the largest carbonate buried hill oil field in my country.

In 1978, crude oil production reached 17.23 million tons, making an important contribution to the national crude oil production exceeding 100 million tons that year.

Until 1986, the annual crude oil output was 10 million tons for 10 years.

The current crude oil production is approximately more than 4 million tons.

Dagang Oilfield: Located in Dagang District, Tianjin, its exploration area is vast, including the Dagang Exploration Area and the Xinjiang Yurdus Basin, with a total exploration area of ??34,629 square kilometers, of which 18,628 square kilometers are in the Dagang Exploration Area.

At present, 15 oil and gas fields and 24 development zones have been put into operation in the Dagang exploration area, with an annual production capacity of 4.3 million tons of crude oil and 380 million cubic meters of natural gas.

At present, structures containing hundreds of millions of tons of oil and gas, such as Qianmiqiao, have been discovered, opening up new oil and gas areas for increasing reserves and production in old oil fields.

Zhongyuan Oilfield: Located in the Puyang area of ??Henan Province, it was discovered in 1975. After 20 years of exploration, development and construction, it has accumulated proven oil geological reserves of 455 million tons, proven natural gas geological reserves of 39.57 billion cubic meters, and has produced a total of 77.23 million tons of crude oil.

, 13.38 billion cubic meters of natural gas.

It is now one of the important oil and gas production bases in eastern my country.

Jilin Oilfield: Located in the Fuyu area of ??Jilin Province, oil and gas exploration and development have been carried out in two major basins in Jilin Province. 18 oil fields have been discovered and proven. Among them, the Fuyu and Xinmin oil fields are large oil fields with reserves of over 100 million tons.

The production has reached an annual output of more than 3.5 million tons of crude oil, forming the production scale of a very large enterprise with a crude oil processing capacity of 700,000 tons.
