Hand-throwing nets, also known as casting nets and turning nets, are suitable for fishing in shallow seas, rivers, lakes and ponds, and can be used by one or two people.

Hand-thrown net is a kind of fishing net that is mostly used in shallow seas, rivers and lakes. Nylon hand-drawn nets have the advantages of beautiful appearance and long service life, but some people often don't know how to spread them, which greatly reduces the number of hand-drawn nets. Here are two simple ways to solve this common problem:

Double-handle net throwing method: Hold the fishnet hook with the left hand, about one-third of the net opening, and hang the net hook on the thumb with the right hand (this is the most important thing when casting the net, so that the thumb can hook the net hook to open the net opening), then hold the rest of the net opening, keep a distance between the two hands for easy movement, and throw it out from the left side of the body with the right hand, then the net opening of the left hand will be sent out conveniently, and the right thumb will hold the net. Practice a few more times and you'll learn it slowly. Its characteristic is that it will not stain clothes and can be operated in chest-deep water.

Handle turning method: straighten the net, lift the leftmost part and hang it on the left elbow about 50 cm away from the mouth. Hold the net mouth of 1/3 with the flat end of the left hand, and hold 1/3 a little more with the hanging nail of the right hand. When casting a net, extend your right hand, left elbow and left hand. Quick and easy to get dirty, suitable for shallow water and beginners.
