Suixi Lion Dance was selected as one of the first batch of national intangible cultural heritages in 2006, and Suixi is also the hometown of Chinese Lion Dance, which has won many gold medals in international lion dance competitions, and also appeared on the stage of the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. Meizhou Lion Dance is the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage; Jieyang Lion Dance and Shenzhen Lion Dance are the third batch of national intangible cultural heritage.
