Developing characteristic rural tourism and boosting rural revitalization

At present, many places in China are vigorously developing rural tourism industry, and regard it as an important starting point for rural revitalization. There is no doubt about its significance, but the author believes that the development of rural tourism should pay attention to its own characteristics.

First of all, the development of rural tourism should pay attention to its own ecological characteristics. Different villages have different ecological environments and different seasons, so it is particularly necessary to develop rural tourism according to local conditions and time. In recent years, rural leisure cultural tourism, rural picking amorous feelings tourism, experience tourism of agricultural tourism integration, landscape holiday leisure tourism, etc., which have emerged in some places, are eco-tourism projects developed in rural areas according to the local natural landscape and agricultural life characteristics.

Secondly, the development of rural tourism also needs to pay attention to cultural characteristics. Some villages have a long history and rich human resources. It is promising to tap local folk customs, costumes, architecture, music, dance and other human resources, integrate modern elements, and create characteristic rural cultural tourism business cards. Some villages combine local cultural characteristics, embed creative design into local rural tourism modes such as "farmhouse music", and transform and upgrade the original culture in the process of blending with foreign cultures, which brings considerable income to local people.

Third, the development of rural tourism needs to respect market rules. Relevant departments should formulate various preferential policies, constantly improve infrastructure, build a unique rural tourism brand in the region, and promote the effective circulation of production factors such as manpower, capital, transportation, land and technology.
