Campus culture of Qingyuan University Town

Campus logo-Dean Tang Enjia of the Confucius Institute presented qingyuan polytechnic with a statue of Confucius.

On April 28th, 2007, when Confucius was born in 2558, the statue of Confucius donated by the Confucius Institute in Hong Kong brought a strong humanistic atmosphere to the campus in qingyuan polytechnic.

At 8: 40 on the same day, the unveiling ceremony of Confucius icon began, and Huang, secretary of the Party Committee of the College, presided over the ceremony. In addition to the teachers and students of the college, there are also party and government leaders in Qingyuan, Chen Yongzhi, secretary of the municipal party committee, Chen Jiaji, mayor, and local journalists. First of all, Dean Zhao Pengfei of qingyuan polytechnic delivered a warm speech. Dean Zhao praised Confucius' immortal thought as a great educator, whose great influence spanned more than 2,500 years. Then, Dean Tang Enjia of the Confucius Institute in Hong Kong made a short speech in traditional Chinese clothes, and he expounded the great significance of reviving Confucianism for saving social morality and realizing human peace.

In a burst of warm applause, under the auspices of Shen, a specially invited etiquette expert from Peace College, Dean Tang Enjia unveiled the statue of Confucius with the secretary, Mayor Chen Jiaji, Dean Zhao Pengfei and other guests. After the unveiling, the college teacher dressed in Hanfu solemnly read the congratulatory message and presided over the tribute ceremony; Party and government leaders in Qingyuan City, led by Dean Hong of Pinghe College, together with more than 0/000 teachers and students from Technical College/KLOC-0, bowed three times to Confucius icon with classical etiquette. The ceremony ended successfully in a grand and elegant atmosphere.

This bronze statue of Confucius in qingyuan polytechnic was donated by Dean Tang Enjia of the Confucius Institute and Mr. Zhang Hua, a Confucian businessman who loves traditional culture. In the long course of Qingyuan Vocational College, the statue of Confucius will gradually blend into the campus culture of the college and become the symbol of qingyuan polytechnic campus culture.
