Health Terms-Sanshi Medicine
1. "Three Ages Medicine" was first seen in Confucius' "Quli". In the "Book of Rites·Quli", there is a record of "if the doctor fails to treat him for three generations, he will not take his medicine". Kong Yingda of the Tang Dynasty said: "You are sick and drink medicine, but the doctor has not been for three generations and you will not take the medicine." He also said: "Three generations of people, the first is "Huangdi Acupuncture", the second is "Shen Nong's Materia Medica", and the third is "Sunu Pulse" "Jue". If you do not study the book of the Three Generations, you must not take its medicine. "Predecessors have different opinions on the "Three Generations Medicine", and Kong Yingda's statement is more reasonable. Specifically speaking, from "Fuxi's Nine Needles" to "Huangdi's Acupuncture", from "Shen Nong's Tasting of Hundreds of Herbs" to "Shen Nong's Materia Medica", from "Huang Di Qibo's Discourse on Meridians" to "Su Nu Pulse Jue", it is the "three generations of medicine" Content. The so-called "Three Generations" refers to the three ancient clan names of Fuxi, Shennong and Huangdi. In fact, it represents the medical level in the budding period of medicine in ancient times. Whenever the ancients established a theory, they often relied on the ancients. They must rely on Shennong and Huangdi before they could establish a theory. This is the earliest historical trace of medicine. Xie Guanyi said: "This is the most famous school of Chinese medicine. His books were passed down to later generations, such as "Lingshu", which belongs to the "Huangdi Acupuncture" school, and if "Ben Jing" belongs to the "Shen Nong's Materia Medica" school, If the "Nan Jing" is from the "Su Nu Mai Jue" school, it can be inferred that Hua Yuan is from the "Huangdi Acupuncture" school, and Zhang Zhongjing is from the "Shen Nong's Materia Medica" school; if it is from Qin and Yue, it is from the "Su Nu Mai Jue" school. Therefore, "Three Generations Medicine" is said to be the three oldest medical schools in the history of our country.
2. In the history of Chinese medicine, the legacy of knowledge has been passed down from family to family, forming a medical family with its own characteristics - a "family-style" family dominated by inheritance from father to son, supplemented by a group of disciples. The talent chain has constructed a medical talent training and clinical model in the history of traditional Chinese medicine that integrates specialty, writing, apprenticeship, and pharmacy. Therefore, it also means that "father and son are inherited for three generations."
"Shen Nong's Materia Medica" is the earliest pharmacology; "Su Nu Pulse Jue" is the earliest diagnostics; "Huangdi Acupuncture" is the earliest acupuncture. This is the earliest medical record and legend. "Three Generations of Medicine" is a classic that is based on the continuous accumulation of experience and gradually rises to theory, which is summarized and organized. The records of "Three Generations of Medicine" illustrate that in ancient times, medicine had gradually risen from practice to the embryonic stage of theory.
"Three Ages Medicine" is not only a compulsory course for ancient doctors, but also a good start for the entire development of traditional Chinese medicine, creating conditions for the formation of traditional Chinese medicine theory and the development of various theories.
