Traditional kite making method

Methods/Steps

1. Fold the paper into a diamond shape, or draw a diamond shape, and cut off the excess ground portion to make the paper into a diamond shape. You can see that the bottom of this rhombus (diamond shape) is 15 centimeters while the top is 35 centimeters.

It is best if the cross is made of bamboo strips because they are lighter and thinner.

Some people also use glue to fix the cross, but this will increase the weight of the kite, and also not strong, with this method is mainly to reduce its weight, of course, the kite in the air when the kite will not fall apart to test the quality of this paper.

5. For aesthetics, tie some of your favorite streamers to the ends of the kite and to the tail. When you are ready to fly, attach a bundle of very light string to the end of the nylon rope so that the kite will fly higher and higher.
