World Record Farthest Flying Paper Airplane
The world record for the farthest-flying paper airplane is Susan.
As of 2021, the world's farthest-flying paper airplane is "Susan", a paper airplane designed by American paper airplane master John Collins. The "Susan" paper plane broke a nine-year record held by Stephen Creech on Feb. 26, 2012, at 226 feet, 10 inches, with a distance of 232 feet, 6 inches.
The paper airplane (scientific name: Autonomous Power Aerodynamic Physical Model) is a toy airplane made of paper, and the earliest paper airplane that can be traced back in time was made in the West in 1909. It is the most common form of aviation origami crafts and belongs to a branch of origami crafts.
There have been many people who have claimed to have made "the best paper airplane in the world". One such model is the DC-03, which has a huge glider and a tail that is probably unique among paper airplanes. Unfortunately there is no international paper airplane league or association that has officially recognized this as the world's best airplane.
Common Paper Airplanes:
1. King of the Air (Stallion)
In April 2009, Takuo Toda, president of the Japan Origami Airplane Association, set a new world record for the flight time of a paper airplane: 27.9 seconds, which was 0.3 seconds longer than the original time record. The paper airplane, which Takuo Toda called the "Sky King," was made from a single sheet of paper folded without the use of glue or scissors.
2. Simulators
Almost all paper airplane enthusiasts are working on more realistic-looking folding methods, and a variety of paper airplanes have emerged that mimic the proportions of real airplanes. In order to achieve a realistic appearance, it is inevitable that the paper airplanes have to undergo more detailed processing, such as trimming the shape.
Some enthusiasts also use glue, tape and other aids, but generally such works are not recognized as paper airplanes, but rather as paper models. Because the material of the paper airplane can only be paper, there can be no other material. A good simulation of paper airplanes not only look realistic, exquisite workmanship, and gliding performance is stable.
