The development history of formal shoes

Formal shoes, which originated in the European gentleman culture, used to have strict rules: three-jointed shoes in the daytime, two-jointed shoes in the evening, and a separate paradigm for evening dress shoes and country casual sneakers. Today, this etiquette has been slightly relaxed, first of all, the two-jointed shoes have been accepted for daytime wear, and the dovetail style, which used to be used as a country casual shoe or even a golf sneaker, has been incorporated into the category of formal footwear, adding a little more casualness to today's gentlemen. Even with these changes in the degree of relaxation, to this day, other styles of shoes have not been included in the strict norms of gentlemen's formal wear.
