F430 marks the birth of a new generation Ferrari V8 sports car. Every inch of the car's skin comes from the research results of Ferrari F 1 Racing Department. The most important technology includes electronic differential (E-Diff), which was originally developed by Farley Company for its F 1 single-seater racing car, which can make full use of engine torque to optimize traction. The steering wheel is also equipped with a driving mode conversion knob (commonly known as manettion knob by Ferrari drivers), which can directly control the vehicle dynamic performance integrated management system.

F430 is equipped with a lightweight compact 4308 cubic centimeter engine, which is a brand-new product. There is no doubt that it has excellent performance. For a road sports car, the aerodynamic design of F430 is very innovative. Carefully polished design creates special airflow, increases downforce and improves cooling effect.

Just like the F 1 racing car, the driver of the F430 can change various settings of the vehicle through the manettion knob. This is a conversion knob directly from racing technology, which can be used to control various functions of the vehicle to obtain the highest efficiency and speed. This knob can quickly and simply control multiple electronic systems, including suspension setting, CST stability and traction control, E-Diff electronic differential, shift speed of F 1 gearbox and the integration effect of these single functions. The settings for drivers to choose are divided into five different modes, which are arranged in the order of gradually improving performance, namely: ice (ice and snow), low grip (low adhesion), SPORT (sports) and RACE (racing).

F430 Spider and F430 are the latest products of a new generation Ferrari V8 engine sports car. F430 Spider has the same advanced technology as F430, and it is also the product of close cooperation between Ferrari racing departments. F430 Spider's all-aluminum body and chassis have been carefully reinforced to ensure the safety of every passenger and meet the requirements of structural rigidity as such a high-performance sports car. Two very strong steel roller protection bars are combined with the windshield structure to provide maximum safety for passengers. The fully automatic electric hood can be folded under the special horizontal hood behind the seat, so that Ferrari engineers can carefully create the aerodynamic characteristics of the car body with the cover completely down.

F430 Spider has a fully automatic and transparent hood, through which you can see the engine inside the car. Seven electro-hydraulic actuators in automatic electric hood ventilation country are opened and closed. The 599 GTB is the first vehicle equipped with a new generation of F 1-SUPERFAST gearbox, which can make different stages of the shift process at the same time, thus shortening the total shift time to 100.

Manettino vehicle dynamic control knob installed on the steering wheel was originally developed for Formula One Grand Prix 1996. Now, the knob has been further improved and installed on the 599GTB model. Manettino knob integrates F 1-Trac traction and stability control system, F 1-SuperFast sequential shift gearbox, SCM suspension system (magnetorheological suspension control) and engine control unit, which means that the driver can change the dynamic characteristics of the vehicle at any time. Manettino knob can be used to change the settings of the vehicle to make it suitable for driving on roads with ice, snow, slippery or low adhesion. Drivers can also choose sports or racing settings. The information of these settings can be displayed on the new multi-function display screen in the car, which can also display the driving performance of the track and the driving computer data.

The experience accumulated by Ferrari racers in thousands of kilometers of Formula One races has benefited non-professional drivers through the F 1-TRAC system, which has raised the handling, safety and stability of vehicles to a new level.

The design goal of the 599 model is to ensure that a new performance benchmark is established. The weight distribution is: front axle 47%, rear axle 53%. Due to the aluminum chassis and body, the vehicle is extremely light in weight, but the torsional rigidity of the body shell is excellent.
