As a grass-roots policeman who has just joined the work, how to resolve contradictions and disputes among the masses and maintain the harmony and stability of public security in the jurisdiction has always been a topic I explore in my daily police work. In rural police work, the most common and difficult group contradictions are pile foundation disputes and land battles. Due to the construction of new countryside, unified planning of villages, redistribution of homestead and other reasons, contradictions and disputes such as pile foundation disputes and land disputes occur from time to time in rural areas. Moreover, because it involves the long-term use of the homestead, the two sides of the contradiction are close neighbors and the contradiction has a long history. This contradiction is difficult to mediate, or even impossible to start. The development of "three visits and three comments" by public security organs in Henan Province has provided me with a big platform to test various mediation methods with practice. By actively participating in mediation, resolving contradictions and disputes, and asking the old police for ways and means to learn mediation, through dozens of practical tests, I gradually accumulated a set of experience and methods to mediate such contradictions, and wrote the manuscript "Only by paying sincerity can we have heart-to-heart communication". 20 12 In May, People's Public Security Daily, People.com and Zhongxin.com adopted and promoted my experience.

In recent years, with the development of rural productive forces and the improvement of economic construction capacity, the mechanization, scale, cooperation and employment of agricultural production have transferred a large number of rural surplus labor. Driven by poverty and interests, there are many common social phenomena in rural areas, such as the tide of migrant workers and the tide of farmers going out to do business and study. Among the people who have left their homes, quite a few people can't put their families and children in their cities, so they can only stay at home in the countryside. The emergence of left-behind families and children has brought a series of crises and problems to rural social security. First, left-behind children have become the hidden dangers and roots of some crimes. Second, the public security situation of left-behind families is worrying, and cases of property infringement such as "two robberies and one theft" occur frequently. Third, the problem of fire hazards in rural areas is outstanding. After in-depth investigation of rural social security, visiting left-behind families and summing up experience, the "five systems" for serving left-behind families were established in Wang's police office. At the same time, I set up the "Left-behind Family Security Mutual Aid Association" to effectively safeguard rural social security through the combination of self-help prevention and police management. On August 20 12, my research article "Maintaining rural public security and stability needs to pay attention to left-behind families" was published by People's Public Security Daily and Legal Daily.

My first year at work was a year when my thoughts changed. This year, I deeply realized that it is not easy to carry out grass-roots public security work. The grass-roots law enforcement environment has put forward higher requirements for young policemen who have just entered the police camp, that is, to thoroughly implement the core values of the people's police "loyalty, serving the people, justice and honesty" in their daily policing work and serve the people wholeheartedly. In my first year as a policeman, I was always keen to record it in words, which was the beginning of my career as a people's policeman.
