What simple manual work can be done with paper?

You only need a piece of paper to get a lantern. Here is my finished product ~

Let's share the production process with you, hoping to bring some reference:

A touch of warmth on a lonely night.

First, the required materials

1, the paper is slightly thick (aspect ratio is 4: 1), too thin, easy to be damaged, and can't bear the weight of later decoration.

2, rope or hemp rope

3, tassels or other favorite decorations

4. Glue stick

Second, the production process 1. Find a piece of discarded paper. I use the package of Heart Sutra, which is offset paper with brush characters printed on it. Making lanterns will be very antique. Ordinary rice paper is very thin. If you want to use idle rice paper, you can stick another piece of paper on the back ~

2. Fold the paper in half along the long side 16 fold, and then fold it diagonally 16 fold. The following is the appearance after folding. ?

For example, you can draw auxiliary lines with a pencil and fold them again.

3. Next, fold the longitudinal edges inward to form a sphere.

It looks like this inside.

4. Then stick the two sides of the lantern with glue sticks.

The length-width ratio of the paper I use is 2: 1, which can be cut to make two lampshades.

5. Connect the upper and lower openings of lanterns with thick string or hemp rope respectively.

Put the handle on the upper part of the lantern, put tassels or favorite decorations on the lower part, and put a light source inside the lantern. I used a mini light string, or I could use a small light bulb or something.

Such an origami lantern is ready ~

My cat is curious.

Besides, I also tried to make an origami butterfly bookmark, which can be sandwiched in a book. Very vivid and beautiful. You can also use a piece of paper ~

This is just what I made. I want to share my production experience.

1. The required material is 1. The length-width ratio of paper with moderate hardness is 10: 6.

2. Pigment (can be omitted)

Second, the production process is folded in half and then folded in half.

2.? Press the creases on both sides inward along the short edge, as shown in the figure.

3.? Open it again and fold it outward.

4.? Turn it upside down and press two rectangles out of the crease.

5.? Open the crease and press it inward, like this.

6.? Open the first half and fold it outward, and a butterfly bookmark will be made.

7.? There is a right-angled groove on the back, which just fits in the book.

8.? You can draw your favorite patterns.
