Professor Li Changji, Director of the Department of Education of Yunnan Normal University and Doctor of Education, gave a lecture entitled "The Basic Images of Virtue in Chinese Traditional Culture" to all the participants of the Sixth Phase of "Ten Thousand Principals' Training Program" of Yunnan Province in the Hongtu Hall of the Kunming University of Science and Technology. Professor Li Changji introduced the importance of "virtue" with a historical story, and explained the necessity of "establishing virtue and making people human" in the context of relevant education policies.
He traced the origin of "moral education" from six aspects of traditional Chinese culture:
