How to disassemble and wipe the water meter

1. Close the main cut-off door (valve) If the water pipe entering the house is directly connected to the water meter, it is necessary to close the outdoor main cut-off door, such as the first floor, outside the building, or on the road.

2. Remove the water meter.

3. Wipe with a dry rag.

4. Wrap all the iron pipe wires prepared before with raw materials.

5. Install the iron pipe in the original position of the water meter with the help of pipe tongs and wrenches.

5. Open the master door (valve)

Usually, DN 15-DN40 water meters are connected by threads. Just unscrew the two sleeves on the water meter (remember that there is rubber between the water meter and the thread).

All water meters above DN50 are flanged. It can be removed by unscrewing the screws on the flange, with a rubber sheet in the middle.
