Maintenance points for promoting plum blossom growth

1, suitable soil

Although plum blossom has low requirements on soil, it is best to choose organic soil with loose soil in order to have high ornamental value. Generally, peat soil, garden soil, coal cinder and humus soil can be mixed and stirred evenly according to the ratio of 3:2:2: 1, and then a small amount of farmyard manure solution can be applied to prepare for winter cold.

Step 2 get plenty of sunshine

If plum blossoms are potted, it is best to keep plenty of sunshine. If they are left in a cool environment for too long, it will lead to poor plant growth. Generally, it is best to keep 6 ~ 7 hours of light every day, and then increase the light appropriately in winter, which is beneficial to the growth and development of plants. In summer, when there is strong light, it will be shaded for a short time.

3. Water and fertilizer management

Without nutrient supply, plum blossoms can't flourish. When potted plum blossoms, apply pancake fertilizer every other month. When flowers and leaves are flourishing, dilute liquid fertilizer can be added every 4 ~ 5 weeks, and appropriate amount of water can be poured in, and then the basin soil can be kept moist.

4, reasonable pruning

If potted plum blossoms are carried out, it is best to prune them reasonably, usually at the same time, and then comb the buds, mainly by re-pruning thick branches and lightly pruning weak branches to ensure the growth balance of the plants. In winter, branches of diseases and pests, dead branches and long branches should be cut off, and then the management of fertilizer and water should be strengthened.
