Introducing the Traditional Composition of China Spring Festival (English)
China New Year is the most important festival in China. It marks a new beginning of the year. According to the China lunar calendar, the Spring Festival usually falls between 1 20th of the month and 20th of February. The New Year is a good start. Fireworks will be set off at midnight in the New Year, and those bad and unhappy things will disappear forever.
There are many stories, traditions and ceremonies about New Year celebrations, which vary from north to south in China. Lion & Dragon Dance and a special festival market are always part of the program to welcome the China New Year.
