Publishers write in the bottom of the theme, the middle of the news about the Spring Festival or digestion, the rest of the place can be divided into four sections, the theme can be: Hip-hop hilarious Spring Festival
Content can be: the source of the Spring Festival: the Spring Festival is the most characteristic of the Chinese traditional festivals. It marks the end of the old year in the lunar calendar.
A new year has begun. People will say goodbye to the cold and monotonous winter and welcome the vibrant spring. The original meaning of "yuan" is "head", which is later extended to "start", because this day is the first day of the year, the first day of spring, the first day of the first month, so it is called "Sanyuan"; because this day is also the age of the morning, the month of the morning, the day of the morning, so also known as "three dynasties"; and because it is the first day of the first solstice, so also known as the "first solstice". Song Wu Zimu in the "Meng Liang Lu" explains: "the first month of the first day, called the new year's day". The Shuowen Jiezi (Explanation of Characters) explains the character "dan" as "from the sun to see one on, one, the earth also." It means that the sun has just risen from the horizon, which means morning. It is called "New Year's Day" and "New Year's Day" because it means the first morning of the year and the first morning of the first month, respectively.
In addition to the above title, the Spring Festival is also known as "the beginning of the year", "the beginning of the year", "the year of the year", "the year of the year", "the year of the year", "the year of the year" and so on.
In addition to the above, the Spring Festival is also known as the "New Year", "New Year", "Founder", "Huayue", etc., in a number of titles to say "New Year's Day" is the most common, the longest time.
Because of the different dynastic calendars, the New Year's Day season is also different. The ancient Chinese calendar is a yin and yang calendar, need to take into account the position of the sun and the moon, so to determine the new year's day, need to first determine that it is in a certain season, and then selected and the season is close to the first month as the new year's day. Because a year and 12 lunar parallel is not equal, the difference is about 11 days, so every three years need to set a leap month to adjust the season. Ancient Chinese astronomers came up with an easy way to determine the relationship between the moon sequence and the seasons, which was to use the point of the handle of the dipper in the evening to set the moon sequence, called the twelfth month of the year. From the north to the east, the ground is divided into 12 directions, and the direction that the handle of the dipper points to in the evening is the month's moon, which is equivalent to the eleventh, twelfth, and first months of the year in the Zi, U, and C months, respectively.
China is an ancient multi-ethnic country. Different historical periods of different ethnic groups have been based on their own cultural traditions and customs to determine their own New Year's Day, that is, changed to "Shosuo", change the time of the first day of the first month. Zhuanxu Emperor and the Xia Dynasty all used the first month of Bengchun as the first day of the month, i.e., using the Xia calendar of Jianyin, the first day of the first month of the lunar calendar as the first day of the month; the Shang Dynasty used the Yin calendar, which was built on the ugly side, with the first day of December of the lunar calendar as the new year's day; the Zhou Dynasty used the Zhou calendar, which was built on the son side, with the first day of the eleventh month of the lunar calendar as the first day of the month; the Qin Dynasty used the Qin calendar, which was built on the Hai side, with the first day of the lunar calendar as the first day of the month; the pre-Xihan Dynasty still used the Qin calendar, and in the early years of the first year of the first year of the first month of the Han dynasty, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty (104 AD) changed to use Sima Qian's first month of the first month of the lunar calendar, and then changed to use the first day of the first month of the lunar calendar. In the early Western Han Dynasty, the Qin Calendar was still used, but in the first year of Tai Chu of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty (104 A.D.), it was changed to the Taichu Calendar which was created by Sima Qian and Luo Xia-tei, and the Xia Calendar of Jianyin was reused to take the first day of the first month of the Lunar Calendar as the first day of January. Afterwards, except for Wang Mang and Emperor Ming of Wei who changed to the Yin Calendar of Jianchou for a time, and the Zhou Calendar of Jianzi for Empress Wu of the Tang Dynasty and Emperor Su of the Tang Dynasty, all dynasties used the Summer Calendar until the end of the Qing Dynasty.
The term "Spring Festival" had different meanings in different periods of history. During the Han Dynasty, people called the first of the twenty-four solar terms "Spring Festival". During the Northern and Southern Dynasties, people called the whole spring "Spring Festival".
After the victory of the Xinhai Revolution, the Nanjing Provisional Government, in order to "follow the farming season" and "facilitate statistics", stipulated that the summer calendar should be used in the private sector, and the Gregorian calendar should be implemented in the governmental organizations, factories, mines, schools and organizations, and the first day of the first month of the Gregorian calendar should be celebrated as New Year's Day. However, the general public called the first day of the first month of the Gregorian calendar "the solar year", and still called the first day of the first month of the lunar calendar "New Year's Day".
September 27, 1949, the first plenary session of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference adopted the use of the world's common calendar calendar, the calendar that is the first day of the first month of the solar calendar as New Year's Day, for the New Year; because the first day of the first month of the lunar calendar is usually around the time of spring, and therefore the first day of the first month of the lunar calendar as the "Spring Festival".
The Spring Festival generally refers to New Year's Eve and the first day of the first month. However, in folklore, the Spring Festival is traditionally celebrated from the Lunar New Year's festival on the eighth day of the Lunar New Year, or the Zaos Festival on the twenty-third day of the Lunar New Year, until the fifteenth day of the first month of the Lunar New Year, with New Year's Eve and the first day of the first month of the Lunar New Year as the climax.
During the Spring Festival, the Han Chinese and most of the ethnic minorities in China hold a variety of activities to celebrate the festival. These activities are to worship gods and buddhas, pay homage to ancestors, get rid of the old cloth new, welcome jubilee to receive blessings, pray for a good year as the main content. Activities are colorful, with strong national characteristics.
The origin of Spring Festival couplets: Spring Festival couplets, originating from the peach symbol." Peach symbols", hanging in the Zhou Dynasty on both sides of the door of the rectangular peach board. According to "after the Han Book, rituals," said the peach runes six inches long, three inches wide, peach board on the book, "Shentian", "Yubi" two God." On the first day of the first month, the peach tree is made and put on the door, the name of the immortal wood, all the ghosts are afraid of." Therefore, the Qing Dynasty "Yanjing Times and Years" said: "Spring Festival couplets, that is, peach symbols also."
During the Five Dynasties, in the court of Western Sichuan, some people wrote couplets on peach charms. According to the "song history, shu shi family" said: after shu lord meng chang make bachelor chapter xun title peach board, "to its non-work, since the pen title cloud: 'new year nayuqing, jiajie number evergreen'", this is our country's first pair of spring festival couplets. Until the Song Dynasty, spring scrolls were still called "peach symbols". In Wang Anshi's poem, there is a line that reads, "Thousands of doors and tens of thousands of houses are open for the day, and new peaches are always exchanged for old ones". In the Song Dynasty, peach symbols were changed from peach wood to paper, called "spring stickers".
In the Ming Dynasty, the peach symbols were renamed as "Spring Festival Couplets". Ming Dynasty Chen Yunzhan "hairpin cloud building miscellany," contained: "spring couplets set up, since the beginning of the Ming Taizu. Emperor Jinling, New Year's Eve before the sudden decree: public officials and the public shall add a spring couplets at the door of the emperor micro line when appearing." Zhu Yuanzhang not only personally out of the city in microdress, watching the laughter and music, he also personally inscribed spring couplets. He passed by a family, see the door has not been posted on the Spring Festival couplets, they went to ask, know that this is a family of castration of pigs, has not been asked to write. Zhu Yuanzhang specially for the castration of the pig people wrote "hands split the road of life and death, a knife cut off the root of right and wrong" of the Spring Festival couplets. The meaning of the couplet is apt and humorous. After the advocate of Ming Taizu, the Spring Festival couplets have become customary, and have been passed down to this day.
One of the legends of the Spring Festival: the year-end vigil
Vigilance, that is, in the last night of the old year, do not sleep, stay up to meet the new year's arrival of the custom, also known as the New Year's Eve vigil, commonly known as "stay up the year". To explore the origins of this custom, there is an interesting story circulating in the folklore:
The ancient times, there is a ferocious beast, scattered in the mountains and dense forests, people call them "year". It is hideous in appearance, ferocious in nature, specializing in eating birds and beasts, scales and insects, a day to change a flavor, from the knocking insects have been eating to the big living people, let people talk about the "year" color change. Later, people slowly grasp the "year" of the law of activity, it is every three hundred and sixty-five days to the crowd of people gathered in the place to taste a mouthful of food, and the time of the infestation are in the dark, until the cock crows at dawn, they will return to the mountains and forests to go.
Calculating the date of the "New Year" ravages, the people regarded this terrible night as a hurdle to brake, called "New Year's Pass", and came up with a whole set of New Year's Pass methods: every night, every family is done in advance of the evening meal, extinguish the fire! net stove, and then all the chicken coop cattle pen tethered, the front and back doors of the house are sealed, hiding in the house to eat "New Year's Eve dinner", because this dinner has the meaning of bad luck and uncertainty, so the preparation is very sumptuous, in addition to the whole family to eat together to express the harmony of the reunion, but also have to be in the meal before the ancestors to offer sacrifices to the ancestors, praying for blessings from the gods, the gods, the gods, the gods, and the gods, and the gods, and the gods. Peacefully through the night, after dinner, no one dares to sleep, sitting together in a crowded chat to strengthen the courage. The habit of staying up on New Year's Eve was gradually formed.
The custom of observing the New Year's Eve rose in the North and South Dynasties, and many literati of the Liang Dynasty wrote poems about observing the New Year's Eve. "One night is a double year, and the fifth night is the second year." People light up candles or oil lamps and keep vigil all night, symbolizing that all evils, plagues and diseases will be driven away, and looking forward to an auspicious new year. This custom has been passed down to this day.
The Spring Festival legend of the second: Wannian created the calendar said
Legend, in ancient times, there is a young man named Wannian, saw the festival was very chaotic, and had the intention of the festival to set the right. But the bitter can not find a way to calculate the time, one day, he went up to the mountains to cut wood tired, sitting in the shade of the tree to rest, the movement of the shadow of the tree inspired him, he designed a measurement of the sun and shadow counting the sundial of the time of day, determine the time of the day, and later, the cliffs on the drip of the spring inspired him to do a five-tiered funnel pot to calculate the time. Over time, he realized that every 360 days or so, the seasons would rotate and the length of the day would repeat itself.
The king of the country at that time was called Zuyi, and he was also often troubled by the unpredictability of the weather. When Wannian learned of this, he took the sundial and the funnel to the emperor and explained to Zuyi the reasoning behind the operation of the sun and the moon. Zu Yi listened to the dragon's face was very happy, feel reasonable. So left Wannian, in front of the Temple of Heaven to build the Sun and Moon Pavilion, built the sundial and funnel kiosk. He hoped to be able to measure the sun and moon, to calculate the exact time of morning and evening, and to create a calendar for the benefit of the people of the world.
On one occasion, Zu Yi went to learn about the progress of the Ten Thousand Years Test Calendar. When he ascended to the Temple of the Sun and the Moon, he saw a poem carved on the stone wall beside the Temple of Heaven:
The sun rises and sets three hundred and six times, and the cycle begins again and again from the beginning.
The grass and trees are divided into four seasons, and there are twelve rounds in a year.
Knowing that Wannian's creation of the calendar had come to fruition, he personally climbed up to the Sun and Moon Pavilion to see Wannian. Wannian pointed to the sky and said to Zuyi: "Now it is the fullness of the twelve months, the old year is over, the new spring begins, I pray for the king to set a festival". Zu Yi said: "Spring is the first day of the year, let's call it Spring Festival". This is said to be the origin of the Spring Festival.
Winter and spring, year after year, Wannian after a long period of observation, careful projection, developed an accurate solar calendar, when he presented the solar calendar to the successor of the king of the country, has been full of silver beard. The king was y touched and named the solar calendar "Wannian Calendar" in honor of Wannian's achievement, and named Wannian as the Star of Longevity of the Sun and the Moon. Later, people put up a picture of the star of longevity at New Year's Eve, supposedly in honor of Wannian, who was a man of high moral standing.
The Third Legend of the Spring Festival: Spring Festival couplets and door gods
It is said that the custom of putting up Spring Festival couplets began about a thousand years ago in the period of Hou Shu, which is supported by history. In addition, according to the Jade Candle Book and the Yenching Yearly Record, the original form of the spring scrolls was the so-called "Peach Symbol".
In ancient Chinese mythology, there was a world of ghosts, in which there was a mountain with a big peach tree covering 3,000 miles, and a golden rooster at the top of the tree. When the golden rooster crowed in the morning, the ghosts that had gone out to roam at night would be rushed back to the Ghost World. The gate of the Ghost Realm was located in the northeast of the peach tree, and by the gate stood two godmen named Shentan and Yubi. If a ghost did something harmful at night, God Tantra and Yubi would immediately find it, catch it, tie it up with a rope made of man's reed, and feed it to the tiger. Therefore, all the ghosts in the world were afraid of Shentian and Yubi. So the people used peach wood to carve into their likeness and put it in front of their house to avoid evil and prevent harm. Later, people simply carved the names of God Tantui and Yubi on the mahogany boards, believing that this could also suppress evil spirits. This kind of peach wood board was later called "Peach Amulet".
To the Song Dynasty, people began to write couplets on the mahogany board, one does not lose the significance of the mahogany to suppress evil, the second is to express their own good wishes, and the third is to decorate the portal, in order to be beautiful. And in the symbol of good luck and auspicious red paper to write couplets, the New Year on both sides of the doors and windows, to express people's prayers for good luck in the coming year.
In order to pray for a family's well-being, people in some places still retain the habit of sticking door gods. It is said that if two door gods are affixed to the front door, all demons and monsters will be afraid. In folklore, the door god is a symbol of righteousness and force, the ancients believe that people with strange looks often have magical endowments and extraordinary skills. They are upright and kind-hearted, to catch ghosts and demons is their nature and responsibility, people look up to the ghost hunter Zhong Kui, that is, this kind of strange looks. So the folk god of the door is always angry eyes, fierce appearance, holding a variety of traditional weapons, ready to fight with the ghosts and demons that dare to come to the door. Since the doors of residential houses in China are usually open in pairs, the door gods are always in pairs.
After the Tang Dynasty, in addition to the previous Shentian, Yubi two generals, people also Qin Shubao and Yuchigong, two Tang Dynasty military generals as the door god. Legend has it that Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty was sick and heard the ghosts and demons outside his door, which made him feel uneasy all night long. So he asked these two generals to stand beside the door with weapons to guard it, and the next night there were no more ghosts to disturb him. Later, Emperor Tang Taizong had the two generals' images drawn and pasted on the door, and the custom began to spread among the people.
