Mid-Autumn Festival lantern how to make

Mid-Autumn lantern handmade tutorial is as follows:

Preparation materials: 1 each of red and yellow drawing paper, scissors, stapler, white latex or glue stick, and 1 each of red hair root.

Step 1: Prepare a rectangular piece of red cardboard.

Step 2: Fold the red paper in half horizontally and use safety scissors to cut the red paper at equal distances from the fold. Leave 0.5~1.0cm on each side of the cardboard, mark a number of parallel lines in equal parts, and then cut it with a paper cutter. Roll it a bit to make the cardboard curved.

Step 3: Fold a small portion of the yellow drawing paper horizontally and then tear it off, roll up the rest of the drawing paper along the long edge, and fix the opening with a stapler. You can also replace the staples in this step with white latex or glue sticks.

Step 4: Coat both long edges of the cut red paper with white glue and roll it up around the yellow cylinder as shown in the photo below.

Step 5: Paste a thin strip of red paper to make a lantern handle, the small lantern is finished.
