The breeding technology of free-range chickens includes the preparation of chicken feed. In order to make the meat of free-range chickens delicious, grow fast and save costs, insects can be artificially bred near the breeding area to feed the chickens. At present, the main method is to raise insects with straw. The specific method is to dig a rectangular soil pit with a width of 0.6m and a depth of 0.6 m, cut the straw into 6-7cm lengths, put it in water and boil it for 1-2h, then take it out and pour it into the pit. Cover with 6-7cm thick sludge, pour a pot of rice washing water every day, and worms will be born in about 8 days. After turning over the sludge, chickens can continue to regenerate worms in this way.

In the chick feeding management system (O-30d), the general brooding room is transformed by using vacant rooms, and 40 chicks per square meter need to be kept warm by stoves or infrared lamps. Then put sterilized warm and dry wood flowers or ten straws cut into 3-5 cm on the ground. The brooding room must be equipped with ventilation window, which can not only keep warm, but also discharge harmful gases such as carbon dioxide and ammonia from the brooding room through the entry of fresh air.

In the management system of raising chickens (30-90 days), the fruit forest needs to cover the henhouse before the chicks move to the mountains. Handling chickens should be carried out at night to reduce the interference to chickens. During the day, chickens are allowed to move freely in the forest, and drinking and feeding are also outside the house. In order to make chicks get into the habit of foraging in orchard woodland as soon as possible, at least two people should cooperate with each other every morning to conduct guiding training from cooling to orchard woodland. Don't get ready too early every day. If it is too early, the weather will be cold, and the chicks will have poor resistance and it will be difficult to survive. Except in rainy or windy weather, you can move the chickens outdoors and then drive them back to the henhouse at night.
