What is an English shepherd?

English sheepdog, also known as the old English sheepdog, belongs to an ancient dog breed and is one of the largest sheepdogs in Britain. Originally from England. According to legend, in the18th century, dogs were powerful, cold and scary-looking. People use it to escort cattle and sheep to the market, so it is called "poultry merchant dog". At that time, domestic dogs kept by poultry merchants were tax-free, and dogs with their tails cut off were regarded as domestic dogs, so people kept a large number of dogs and fixed their breeds to this day. Now this dog has many lovers in America, Britain and Japan.

The English shepherd (Figure 3- 18) is 55-65cm tall and weighs 36-40kg. Hair is gray, blue-gray white spots, blue or white blue-gray spots, and the upper hair is rich, soft and curly. The body is square, with a big head covered with decorative hair. The bridge of the nose is wide, and the nose is big and black. Wide mouth, big mouth crack. The expression of the eyes depends on the color of the coat, mostly gray. The ears lie flat on the side, covered with long decorative hair, the front legs are straight, the bones are thick, the muscular hind legs have decorative hair, and the thigh bones are long, walking in a bear posture.
