What is halar coating? What equipment is it used on?

HALAR ECTFE (F-30) is an alternating polymer produced by polymerizing ethylene and chlorotrifluoroethylene in an equal molar ratio.

It has excellent chemical stability and non-flammability, as well as good electrical and mechanical properties, and can be processed by the molding methods of general thermoplastic plastics.

The long-term use temperature is -50~170℃, the thermal decomposition temperature is above 300℃, and its hardness, surface smoothness, permeability resistance and flame resistance are better than ETFE.

It can be widely used in the internal and external spraying of dust-free and sterile air ducts in the electronics and pharmaceutical industries, as well as the anti-corrosion treatment of anti-corrosion equipment and pipelines in the chemical industry and other industries.

Halar ECTFE is divided into 6014, 6514, 6614, 6914, 6014F, 9414, 3404DA and other brands. It is produced by the Belgian Solvay company in Texas, USA.

Application: Jacketed reaction kettle, stirred kettle.

Anti-corrosion of centrifuges, anti-corrosion of filtration equipment, anti-corrosion of environmentally friendly desulfurization equipment, anti-corrosion of drying equipment, non-stick spraying, anti-corrosion of valves and pumps.
