What is Posanova's musical style?

Posanova is the result of the fusion of Manbo music and cold jazz, and also absorbs some characteristics of samba music. In the 1950s, he recorded some cold jazz records with some West Coast musicians. 1962, he and guitarist Charlie Bird recorded an album called Jazz Samba, which made Posanova popular in America. 1963, he recorded the album Gates/Gilberto with guitarist Joao Gilberto and pianist Antonio Carlos Jopin from Brazil, in which The Girl from Ipanema was sung by Joao Gilberto and his wife Astrud Giberto.
