Understanding of intellectual property rights

Legal analysis: Intellectual property, also known as intellectual property, refers to the property rights enjoyed by the obligee on the fruits created by his intellectual labor, which are generally valid only for a limited time. All kinds of intellectual creations, such as inventions, designs, literary and artistic works, as well as signs, names and images used in business, can be regarded as intellectual property rights owned by a certain person or organization.

Legal basis: Intellectual Property Law of the People's Republic of China

Article 1 This Law is formulated in accordance with the Constitution for the purpose of protecting the copyright of authors of literary, artistic and scientific works and their rights and interests related to copyright, encouraging the creation and dissemination of works beneficial to the construction of socialist spiritual civilization and material civilization, and promoting the development and prosperity of socialist culture and science.

Article 2 Works of China citizens, legal persons or unincorporated entities, whether published or not, shall enjoy copyright in accordance with this Law. Foreign works first published in China shall enjoy copyright in accordance with this Law.

The copyright of works published by foreigners in China shall be protected by this law according to the agreement signed between the country to which they belong and China or the international treaties to which * * * is a party.
