Annotations Immunotherapy is a therapeutic method to prevent and treat diseases by using immune agents to regulate the immune state of the body and make the body have an appropriate immune response to diseases. Early immunotherapy is mainly to inject vaccines and antiserum to prevent and treat chronic diseases. With the need of organ transplantation and tumor treatment, people have developed immunosuppressants and immunopotentiators to control the immune state of the body, and used immunosuppressants to treat various allergic and autoimmune diseases. At present, immunotherapy has been widely used in the treatment of immunodeficiency diseases, autoimmune diseases, viral diseases, tumors and allergic diseases, and has developed into a new discipline-immunotherapy. In immunotherapy, according to different immune types, it can be divided into cellular immunotherapy and humoral immunotherapy. According to the different pertinence of immunity, it can be divided into specific immunotherapy and nonspecific immunotherapy. According to the normal immune response, low immune response and strong immune response to antigen foreign bodies, it can be divided into immune enhancement (stimulation) therapy and immunosuppression therapy. Immunotherapy involves the interaction of organism, diseases and drugs, in which the immune state of organism is the key to treatment, which directly affects the role of pathogens and drugs.
