Paraffin wax is divided into food grade paraffin wax and industrial grade.

Food grade paraffin wax is further divided into food paraffin wax and food packaging paraffin wax according to use. Food paraffin wax is suitable for food and drug components, such as mold release, pressing, polishing and other direct contact with food and drug waxes, as well as food additives; food packaging paraffin wax is suitable for food contact with containers, packaging materials, impregnation wax, as well as drug sealing and coating wax.

Food grade paraffin wax is suitable for food chewing gum, bubble gum, drug components, mold release, pressing, polishing and other waxes for direct contact with food and drugs.
