How to read the manual?

The first type: mind mapping method

The biggest advantage of taking reading notes with mind maps is that you can integrate the contents of a whole book on a piece of paper. When taking notes, you need to read the whole book first, then divide it into chapters, extract the keywords of important knowledge points, classify them, and expand them in the form of big branches and small branches. So, what if you make a mind map? First find the center of the paper, then mark the title of the book, and then start drawing branches around it. The first branch should be slightly thicker and the second branch should be slightly thinner. The branches of each part should be the same color and belong to the same category. The words on the branches are the key words of the article you extracted.

Like this kind of mind map, you can directly draw by hand, which is very simple, and you can also exercise your painting skills. Of course, you can also use computer software, such as mind map or x-mind, and there are also apps on your mobile phone that can be made directly, which is convenient and fast.

The second type: visual note-taking method.

Visual note books still need a little painting effort. Generally, you can prepare a blank notebook first, find some manuals on the Internet to imitate patterns, and learn some simple symbols and characters and stick figures.

The advantage of this method is that you can display the boring text content in the book through images at will, and the content will be remembered more firmly and your brain will be more active.
