Fuzhou folk tale legend: Tatou Street
Fuzhou East Gate Tatou Street, formerly known as ? Shaking head street? The name was changed to "Tatou Street" in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China.

Legendary Folk Tales of Fuzhou: Goddess Chen Jinggou
Chen Jinggou is a folk goddess in Fujian, and the goddess of protection of the sea, Tianhou Mazu Lin Mo Niang. Chen Jinggou is Minhou Toushan Xiadu people (now belongs to Cangshan District, Fuzhou City). When Chen Jinggu was twenty-four years old, Fuzhou was in a severe drought, and if it didn't rain, there would be no harvest. King Min ordered Chen Shouyuan and other Taoist priests to set up an altar to pray for rain, due to the lack of magic power, the more you pray for the more sunny, the king of Min was furious, and ordered that within five days of praying for no rain, he would use the Chai Tower to burn all the Taoist priests to death. Chen Shouyuan was unable to do so, and had to beg Chen Jinggu to pray for rain. Chen Jinggu was pregnant at that time, and it was very dangerous for her to pray for rain. However, for the sake of her brother, Shou Yuan and the Taoist priests, and even more so for the sake of the majority of the disaster victims, she resolutely agreed to pray for rain to the birth of a baby.
Legend has it that after her death, Chen Jinggu's spirit returned to Lushan Mountain, regretting that she did not learn how to protect the fetus and save the baby, and Xu Zhenzhen taught her how to protect the fetus and save the baby, and so she became the protector of children and women in the civil society.
