Jiangxi traditional festival composition

As we all know, the Spring Festival is the most important festival in China, which is as grand as Christmas for foreigners. The customs of Spring Festival in different areas of China are different, with their own traditional colors. Today, I want to talk to you about the Spring Festival custom in my hometown-south of colorful clouds.

The custom of Spring Festival in Yunnan is completely different from that in Beijing. From New Year's Eve to Lantern Festival is the Spring Festival. After the Lantern Festival, the Spring Festival is over. There is no twelfth lunar month in Yunnan and I don't eat laba porridge, so I haven't tasted laba porridge and laba garlic in Beijing.

Let's talk about New Year's Eve first! This morning, we must go to the market to buy ingredients for the New Year's Day and the reunion dinner. The child went to the mountain to pick up pine leaves. In the afternoon, we should wash quilts and clothes, as well as the whole body, because we have a taboo there-we can't wash clothes and bathe from the first day to the third day of the first month. New Year's Eve is New Year's Eve and the climax of the Spring Festival. Everyone is busy cooking a reunion dinner, and white smoke comes out of every chimney. After the reunion dinner, the adults spread the pine leaves picked up by the children on the ground. Children always dance proudly when they see their trophies praised by adults. Burn paper money to worship ancestors before the reunion dinner, and then throw the paper ash out after the meal. When all this is ready, everyone will sit on the floor and enjoy the Spring Festival reunion dinner without restraint. After dinner, adults are busy with bowls and tables. The children started their "firecracker war" happily. Adults sit around the TV to watch the Spring Festival Gala. Adults who don't want to watch the Spring Festival Gala set the table to play mahjong. This joyful scene lasted until midnight, when groggy people lit firecrackers, and deafening firecrackers resounded through the sky to usher in the new year. After the firecrackers, people who had been busy all day fell asleep in bed.

Sleeping until nearly midnight, people had to get up one after another to cook and eat. This is the "Spring Festival dinner" at four o'clock, because the first day of the first month is the first day of the year, so we have to eat to welcome it. After dinner, people went back to bed and slept until dawn. ...

It is also a strange custom in Yunnan that you can't go to other people's homes on the first day of the first month, but you can only go outside. On the second day of the second year, we went to the county seat, just like visiting a temple fair in Beijing. The dazzling array of shops and strange things in the county make us want to stay. On the Lantern Festival, people don't eat dumplings, drink good wine and dishes, and don't hang up the lights, but they are still lively. The whole family goes to the mountains to see others.

After the Spring Festival, everyone who should work will go back to Shenzhen. After the excitement, the countryside resumed its former calm and harmony.
