A type of boxing that is more powerful in actual combat is short-fight boxing. Its movements generally pursue a vigorous, unpretentious and rapid-fire style. In martial arts techniques, it is important to take every inch and hit hard. It truly has the characteristics of being pushed, helped, squeezed, leaned on, collapsed, and shaken in general. Bajiquan exerts force on the heels, travels around the waist, and penetrates through the fingertips, so it has great explosive power and is full of martial arts characteristics. Therefore, in the world of traditional Chinese martial arts, Baji Quan is known as the saying that Tai Chi can calm the world and the Baji can determine the universe.
Bajiquan is a boxing technique in Chinese martial arts. The term "Baji" in this boxing method was originally an ancient geographical concept, originating from "Huainanzi·Zhen Xingxun" of the Han Dynasty, "Between heaven and earth, there are eight Jizhou". Today, the word "Baji" is used in martial arts, which means "the energy can reach far away places in all directions."

Bajiquan is one of the Chinese martial arts types. It uses six opening methods (six major openings) as the core of the technique to break through the opponent's door. (defensive frame) meaning. The name "Baji" follows the ancient saying that "Beyond Kyushu there are Ba Yin, beyond Ba Yin there are Ba Hong, and beyond Ba Ji there are Ba Ji", which means "the eight directions are extremely far away".
Baji Quan has been passed down to this day with its unique style of strong, simple and fast movements. In its early years, it was called "Bazi Quan", "Baji Quan", "Baji Quan" and "Baji Quan" due to different regions. "Open the door to the eight extremes", "open the fist", etc. However, in modern times, it was named after the word "Baji" based on the characteristic that its energy can reach extremely far places in all directions.
In the north, martial arts are called Ba Shi and Ba Shi. The significance of Baji is to encourage disciples to practice the eight (hands) postures to an extremely high level. In addition, Baji training emphasizes the use of eight parts: head, shoulders, elbows, hands, tail, hips, knees, and feet. In "Huainanzi" written by Liu An of the Han Dynasty, it is recorded: "Beyond Jiuzhou there are Ba Yin, beyond Ba Yin there are Ba Hu, and beyond Ba Hu there are Ba Ji." Here the Ba Ji represents Extremely far away. The name of Bajiquan also requires its disciples to practice the strength of Bajiquan to the extreme.
