Buddhist inheritance of Fengxue Temple

The Buddhist heritage of Fengxue Temple started from the rooftop and ended in Linwa. Beginning as Tiantai Sect, Fengxue Temple, the seventh ancestor of Tiantai Sect, became the stronghold of Tiantai Sect. In the Five Dynasties, Linjizong, the best branch of Zen, took its place and carried forward Linjizong in Fengxue Temple. In the early Qing Dynasty, Lin Ji's thirty-two, thirty-three, thirty-four and thirty-five ancestors all taught in the Fengxue Temple, so the Fengxue Temple was known as the "Tiantai Lin Ji Second Ancestral Court". Compared with Shaolin Temple, most of the eminent monks in Fengxue Temple in the past dynasties were learned writers, who kept and passed on many essences of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, which made scholars and experts linger. Since ancient times, there has been a saying that "Wu Shaolin, Wenfeng Cave".
