We have always had a good tradition in China, which is called "three provinces a day". When I was a child, I especially didn't like what my mother said, "If you have it, change it, if you don't, encourage it." Yes, change it; No, just remind you. And our parents in China are particularly afraid of their children's pride. We feel that pride makes people lag behind and modesty makes people progress. If we think children feel good about themselves, we will feel the need to knock on the door. When children realize their mistakes, we will feel that the purpose of education has been achieved. So you will find that the education we have always imagined is such a model of error correction education.

There will be other factors, which will also make error correction education last forever. For example, there is always a "other people's child". Especially after the development of social media, the circle of friends saw what prize A's children won today and how many pianos B's children played tomorrow. Our children didn't study well and the piano was not good either. I really don't know what to do. As soon as I compared this kind of other people's children, my parents began to be anxious. So we think we should educate our children. At this time, we should also use error correction education.

We will find that parents often make a logical mistake in family education, which is called the landslide fallacy. In other words, after a child makes a mistake, if he doesn't stop it, he will definitely make bigger mistakes again. I vividly call this logic domino logic. In other words, why are we so nervous? Because of his little mistake, we feel that after the first card is dropped, we will push the second card and the third card, and his problem will get bigger and bigger.

For example, if he starts studying, his study habits may not be so good, and we will be very anxious. How can I have bad study habits? If you don't study well, your academic performance will definitely fail. If you have poor academic performance and can't get into a good primary school, you can't get into a good middle school; If you can't get into a good middle school, you can't get into a good university; If you can't get into a good university, you can't find a good job; If you can't find a good job, your life will be ruined, so study habits are too important. We stare at this thing and insist on changing it to our ideal model. Therefore, the existence of this logic also makes us nag our children every day and constantly underestimate our children from morning till night.

In my book, I also introduced how our parents can't get used to their children when they go home to sleep from morning to night. You will find that in this process, our parents often say, "I don't need you to do well, I just want you to be normal." However, parents are normal, in fact, the requirements are already very high, which will lead to children being constantly picked on in this process.
