Daughter-in-law's responsibility?

The responsibility of a daughter-in-law is that there is a conversion of mutuality; it is a legal obligation for a daughter-in-law to bring up her children, and it is not a legal obligation for a daughter-in-law to honor her in-laws; it is a manifestation of the traditional virtues and the public order of the society. The kinship between a daughter-in-law and her in-laws is based on marriage, and if there is no basis for marriage there is no kinship, so there is no legal obligation imposed by law on this relationship.

According to the relevant legal basis, parents and children, parents have the obligation to raise their children; children have the obligation to support their parents. Parents do not fulfill the obligation to support, minor or can not live independently of the children, have the right to demand parents to pay maintenance. If a child fails to fulfill his or her obligation to provide support, a parent who is unable to work or has difficulty in making ends meet shall have the right to demand that the child pay alimony to him or her.

The main content of alimony is that, under the existing economic and social conditions, children should provide their parents with the necessary necessities and expenses, and should respect, care for and take care of their parents in their lives, spiritually and emotionally. Adult children who are financially capable of supporting their parents, irrespective of their sex or whether they are married or unmarried, shall fulfill this obligation to the best of their ability in accordance with the law until the parents' death.

The obligation of children to support their parents occurs not only between children born in wedlock and their parents, but also between children born out of wedlock and their biological parents, between adopted children and their adoptive parents, and between stepchildren and their stepparents who have fulfilled their duty of upbringing and education. The responsibility of the daughter-in-law is a self-recognized and moral one, and if in the course of the process the in-laws do not fulfill their due obligations, the daughter-in-law may choose not to support them. But the other party is incapable of labor or living in difficulty must bear some responsibility.

The Chinese People's **** and National Code Article 1,067 parents do not fulfill the obligation to support, minor children or adult children can not live independently, have the right to ask parents to pay alimony, adult children do not fulfill the obligation to support, lack of ability to work or living in difficult circumstances of the parents, have the right to ask adult children to pay alimony.
