Energy, hydrogen economy?
Hydrogen economy (English name) is an idea of future economic structure with hydrogen as the medium of energy (storage, transportation and transformation) put forward in 1970s. Hydrogen is a kind of clean energy, and the water produced by combustion has no pollutants. It is no more dangerous than natural gas to convert renewable energy such as solar energy, wind energy and water potential energy into electric energy, electrolyze water in electrolytic cells to produce hydrogen, and store it at room temperature through efficient hydrogen storage materials or transport it through pipelines. Hydrogen fuel cells are used to generate electricity, replacing non-renewable fossil fuels that pollute the environment at present. Strengthening the development of hydrogen storage materials, electrolytic preparation of hydrogen and fuel cells, and greatly reducing their costs, the realization of this reasonable economic structure of hydrogen will not be far off. The goal is to replace the existing petroleum economic system and achieve the goal of environmental protection, renewable and sustainable development.
