History of Wushan primary school

Founded in the reign of Guangxu Guimao, the "All Fujian Normal Primary School" specially recruited noble children and hired celebrities to teach. In the 1920s and 1930s, the school began to take shape. Mr. Gao Guangyuan, who returned from studying in Japan, served as the principal. 1935, Mr. Wei Erli, who graduated from Xiamen University, took over. 1937, there are 602 students (including 20 girls1person), 22 teachers (including 3 college graduates and 7 normal students1person) and 57 school buildings.

After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, the school still insisted on running.

At the beginning of the founding of New China, a "Children's College" was newly established to recruit children of cadres whose parents are in the supply system (boarding system). 1950 10, with 24 teaching staff, 20 primary school students and 32 kindergarten children, relieved the worries of the cadres of the provincial party Committee and the Tenth Corps who were busy with revolutionary work.

1956, the school was placed under the charge of the Municipal Education Bureau and named "Wushan Primary School in Fuzhou".

From 65438 to 0959, our school was taken over by the Provincial Department of Education. As a unit directly under the Ministry and a provincial key primary school, the school has made new development.

1966 (during the cultural revolution), the school was seriously damaged. It was renamed "Dongfanghong Primary School", but it gradually recovered after rectification.

1979, Fuzhou Municipal Committee selected the school as the first batch of opening units. In the same year, the municipal party Committee and the municipal government awarded the school a "commendation order". As a primary school directly under the city and one of the first batch of 16 primary schools in the province, after years of practice and accumulation, it has achieved remarkable results in running schools. Since the 1990s, with the efforts of several principals and the hard work of 100 teachers, the school has become a prestigious school. China Education News, Wen Wei Po, Guangming Daily, provincial newspapers, and provincial and municipal TV stations reported many times.

The existing campus area is 1.3 1.000 square meters, and the construction area is 8000 square meters.
