Cupping exercise

First of all, let's talk about several types of cupping pots, such as bamboo pots, glass pots, pottery pots, oil tanks, gas tanks and so on.

Cupping refers to the method of cupping with fire, generally using glass jars. Treatment can be done by throwing fire, flashing fire, sticking cotton and sticking stickers. The principle of cupping method is to use the heat of combustion to remove the atmosphere in the tank, and the negative pressure will be adsorbed on the skin, causing local skin congestion and cyanosis, thus achieving the purposes of dredging meridians, regulating qi and blood, dispelling cold and removing dampness.

Here are two most commonly used cupping methods.

Throw a fire and make the newspaper into a piece the size of a dime. After burning, I saw that more than half of the paper was burned. I quickly threw the paper into the cupping, and immediately buckled the cupping to the original selected place. This method is suitable for beginners, but pay attention to the fact that the paper should not be too big. It is recommended to cupping horizontally at the beginning to avoid the burning paper in cupping falling to the skin.

Flash fire method is the most commonly used method by professional physiotherapists or doctors, which has certain technical difficulties. Ordinary people can master this cupping method after repeated practice for a period of time. Before cupping, you should first prepare two things, one is 95% alcohol. The other is to wrap a small stone with eight layers of gauze, pinch both sides of the gauze together, tie it with a rope, and clamp the tied rope head with hemostatic forceps. When in use, the gauze is dipped in alcohol, ignited with fire, circled in a glass jar, quickly withdrawn, and immediately cupped to the designated position. This action should be steady and fast, and cupping should not be too far away from the skin. Otherwise, due to the long moving distance of the cupping, the cupping will be filled with air again, resulting in poor adsorption of the cupping and unable to be sucked out. Also pay attention to, don't touch too much alcohol, so as not to fall on the skin and burn the patient.
