Eastern China has the largest cold storage capacity

From the regional distribution, according to the National Cold Chain Logistics Enterprises Distribution Map released by China Cold Union, in 2021, in the regional distribution of China's cold storage capacity, East China has the largest cold storage capacity, accounting for 39.92% of the total cold storage capacity in the country; followed by Central China, accounting for 13.64%.

Ramp storage accounted for the year-on-year increase

Currently, China's cold storage is the main form of cold storage for the flat storage and the building storage, the ramp storage has not yet been popularized, mainly in the first-tier cities. In 2019, the proportion of building storage and flat storage was 49.71% and 47.49% respectively, and ramp storage was only 2.8%; in the first half of 2020, the proportion of ramp storage increased to 6.19%, and the proportion of building storage and flat storage was 46.52% and 47.29% respectively. According to IoT Cloud Warehouse, it is expected that the proportion of ramp storage will increase in the future. in 2021, the proportion of ramp storage grew to 9.27%, with 45.40% and 45.33% for building storage and flat storage respectively.
