Shanxi Spring Festival custom
First, the southern suburbs of Taiyuan-two months after the New Year.
From the beginning of the twelfth lunar month, every household in the village in the southern suburbs of Taiyuan began to enter the process of preparing for the New Year. On this day, every household will fry corn, wheat, sorghum, soybeans, melon seeds and so on. Put it in a jar to pray for a bumper crop and no pests in the coming year. After the grain is fried, the children fill their small pockets, and then the whole village visits each other to exchange and taste which mother's cooking is the best. The fried grain is fragrant and crisp ... the smell of fried grain and the children's laughter echoed over the village, gently kicking off the new year.
On the thirtieth day of the twelfth lunar month, the climax of the New Year is brewing to the extreme. On the afternoon of New Year's Eve, the host of the family will carry a big broom and carefully clean the yard in front of the house. In the room behind him, ingenious women will cut out five-color paper with ears from colorful papers such as pink, gold, green, sky blue and deep purple, which looks like flowers blooming on New Year's Eve. Jiaozi was not eaten on New Year's Eve, but jiaozi wrapped it up and cooked it on the morning of New Year's Eve. This is called "eating rice every year", which means eating enough and wearing warm clothes year after year.
On the first day of the first month, the real New Year came. All day, the villagers will walk around and pay New Year greetings to people. On the second day of the first month, in our place, it is the day when wanderers go home to worship their ancestors. The third day of the first month is the day when married daughters return to their parents' homes. On the fifth day of the first month, also known as "Breaking Five", people set off a lot of fireworks to show that many taboos were broken during the New Year in China. There is a saying in my hometown that "Chinese New Year is celebrated before the first month". Throughout the first month, every household will keep visiting relatives or entertaining relatives and friends, and there will be laughter everywhere.
Second, Hexi, Taiyuan-Yangjiaozi is full of flavor.
Speaking of the Spring Festival, the claw on the first day of the New Year's Day should be the most unforgettable thing for the old lady.
For this jiaozi, people often start to prepare for it six months in advance. In the hot summer of July, people with financial ability will start to choose sheep. Don't be picky when choosing sheep. According to the older generation of Taiyuan people, this kind of sheep should not be fat, thin, young or old, but should choose a "shelf sheep" whose bones have just grown out and whose body has not yet begun to gain weight. When choosing sheep, you should circle a sheepfold in the yard that is only enough for one sheep. After the "shelf sheep" come in, just feed them delicious and delicious. In this way, until New Year's Eve. Half a year ago, the "shelf sheep" has grown fat and strong, so it's time for people to sharpen their knives. When the sheep is slaughtered, the mutton will be picked out, and the head, hoof and sheepskin will be placed separately.
On New Year's Eve, sheep's head, sheep's hoof and sheepskin became the protagonists of the night. The elders at home will take out a sacrificial tray, arrange the sheep's head and four sheep's hoofs like a whole sheep, and then cover the sacrificial tray with the whole sheepskin, leaving only the sheep's head and four sheep's hoofs exposed. Then, it is a ceremony to worship the god of heaven and earth. After the simple ceremony, the sacrificial plates will remain in the shrine until the end of the whole New Year.
The mutton that has been picked will be served at the end of the year. At this time, someone has chopped the mutton and added the seasoning. So on New Year's Eve, the whole family sat around the hot kang, happily wrapping mutton jiaozi. The first meal of the New Year is jiaozi, a kind of mutton stuffing with hometown flavor.
Third, Zuo Quan-bean curd and noodle tea
During the Spring Festival, we should observe the Lunar New Year, eat jiaozi and set off firecrackers. My hometown is at the junction of Shanxi and Hebei, and the custom of Spring Festival is almost the same as that of most northern areas. But there are two habits that are rarely seen elsewhere.
One is to eat brains before dawn on New Year's Day. Brain is a famous food in Shanxi, which is made of astragalus, mutton, long yam, yellow wine and so on. It is said that it was invented by Fu Shan and regarded as nourishing food. But my hometown's mind is very simple, that is, stir-fry tofu and vermicelli, and sprinkle chopped green onion when eating. But why eat like this? Grandparents can't tell the difference. There are few customs of eating fried tofu on major festivals in other places. It seems that only Sunan people have the habit of eating green onions and fried tofu on the solstice in winter, but it should be just a coincidence that one is in Sunan and the other is in Jinzhong.
The other is drinking tea on the morning of the second day of the lunar new year. The habit of drinking morning tea in Guangdong is also called morning tea in Zuo Quan, but it is only enjoyed on the second day of the Lunar New Year. Tea is not a tea market in Guangdong, but a kind of "noodle tea" made by mixing millet flour and corn flour. Boiled with water, it smells special all over the house. In the noodle tea, you need to cook vegetarian jiaozi and tofu strips. In short, they are all vegetarian, and there is absolutely no meat. Asked many people, I only know that there is such a way to stir-fry noodle tea in Hebei, but no one can tell the origin and stress of drinking noodle tea in the first month.
Fourth, Yuxian-lighting grass to welcome the Year God.
On the first morning of New Year's Day, every family held a ceremony to welcome God. It is about five o'clock in the morning. Before dawn, people light the annual grass prepared in the yard one day in advance. Actually, it's straw from some crops. This is different from many places in Shanxi. Yuxian is also a big coal-producing county, but it is not burning coal, but burning grass. I hope that through this ceremony, I can dispel the troubles and misfortunes of the past and pray for a bumper harvest in the coming year.
This pile of grass can burn for about half an hour. During this half hour, the whole family has to get up, put on new clothes and hats, and then loudly say "Happy New Year" to their elders, as if the fortune of the new year was in the blessing before the first sunshine. Everyone who receives the blessing will have a good mood and good luck for a year.
Then the adult men in the family began to set off firecrackers, almost at the same time. In a flash, the golden snake danced wildly, the silver tongue danced, and there was a silver flower of the fire tree. So the first light of the new year came, everything was completely new, and new hopes filled people's faces.
At dawn, the family went out in droves to pay New Year greetings to their families and walked down the street. No matter who you meet, it is a three-word greeting "Happy New Year". Originally, the younger generation should kowtow to their elders during the New Year call. Now the custom has changed, and this kind of bow-down ceremony is omitted, but there is no shortage of New Year's greetings, and the villagers' days are getting more and more prosperous. The blessing at this time is the most timely and powerful.
At the end of eight o'clock, people who went out to pay New Year greetings came back one after another. At home, they have boiled potatoes and tofu, cooked steaming jiaozi and, of course, all kinds of dishes. The first meal in the new year is ready, and with everyone's sincere wishes, the appetite for eating will of course be particularly good.
Five, Xiangning jujube steamed stuffed bun to send friends and relatives
The Spring Festival in Xiangning has inherited the warm and strong style of the whole southern Shanxi. According to the traditional custom of Xiangning, cooking with fire is forbidden from the first day to the fifth day of the first month, so people should prepare pasta before the Spring Festival. But now the custom of "cooking without fire" has changed, but the custom of preparing pasta many years ago has remained.
Steaming "jujube buns" is the happiest thing for every household. During the Spring Festival, steamed jujube steamed bread is not only for your own consumption, but also the main gift when visiting relatives and friends in the first month of the new year. So when steaming steamed bread, the amount is much more than usual. In rural areas, neighbors, three or five partners, help each other, often a family has to steam all day until dark, and an average of more than 20 jujube buns per household/kloc-0 will be steamed. There are two kinds of jujube steamed buns, namely "big steamed buns" and "small steamed buns". "Big steamed bread" is for relatives and friends who are older than themselves, and "small steamed bread" is for relatives and friends of the same generation. Jujube steamed stuffed bun looks like a handful of gold "Ruyi" and tastes delicious. "Jujube steamed stuffed bun" is closest to the "year" of Xiangning people. Everyone has dates and flour, and making jujube buns is the most common but also the most delicious.
Six, Shouyang-send poor soil for the New Year
The first day of the first lunar month is an ancient traditional festival in China, which has always been valued by people. In Shouyang County, people used to leave black charcoal wrapped in red paper around the gate. According to legend, red paper stands for Qin Qiong and black charcoal stands for Wei Chijingde, which means "to ward off evil spirits". On New Year's Eve, every household here has to stay up all night, which is called "staying up all year". The people who got up early the next morning lit a fire, set off firecrackers, worshipped their elders, ate jiaozi and drank brains. After dinner, I went out to visit my neighbors and elders, and everyone met and celebrated each other. During the four days from the first day to the fourth day, sweeping monk didn't pour the soil until the early morning of the fifth day, which was called "sending the poor soil", and Beixiang people called it "sending the five poor people".
Lantern Festival on the fifteenth day of the first month, also known as "Lantern Festival". By then, every household in Shouyang will be decorated with lanterns and every village will be filled with drums and music. From the first day of the first month 14, arches will be erected and lanterns will be hung in the town. There is a "Tata fire" in front of the shops of various businesses. Men and women who wander the streets and lanes are called "walking all kinds of diseases". On the 16th day of the first month, villages spread songs and dressed up as jugglers. Some people also do "wind chicken", which is also called "driving waste" and "driving epidemic".
From 14th to 16th of the first month, there is a lantern official yamen in the county seat. Lantern officials sit in eight-person sedan chairs, simulating the patrol of county officials. The lantern official is like a clown, funny and full of fun, and there are many ironies in the yamen. In Songta, the south township of the county seat, a fire is lit and firecrackers are set off at dawn on 15, which is called "meeting the demigods". The 20th day of the first month is called "small irrigation", and its activities are similar to "sending five poor people" on the fifth day of the first month. On the 25th day of the first month, it is called "old warehouse filling", that is, the land is painted as a warehouse, and food is put on it, which symbolizes that the warehouse has no worries about food and clothing.
Seven, Guangling-the whole village dispatched to meet the Western God.
The annual Spring Festival is coming, which is the custom every year. In Guangling County, there are many unique customs and habits during the New Year, such as eating New Year's Eve, drinking sugar water, lighting a fire and offering sacrifices to family gods, and one of the most important customs of every household is to welcome the Western gods in the New Year. It has been circulating in the local area for thousands of years. It is said that only by burning incense and kowtowing to welcome XiShen will it be prosperous and auspicious all the year round.
Every year, the arrival time of the Western God is calculated by some old gentlemen who know the Book of Changes and gossip, which is about one day from the first day to the fifth day of each year. On this morning, adults and children in every household should put on new clothes and take mules, horses, cows and sheep out of the house to meet the Western God. In addition to burning incense, kowtowing and paper money, the traditional way of greeting is to set off firecrackers and pray silently, so that the Western God can follow him home. In recent years, with the continuous progress of society, except for some elderly people, they will meet the western gods step by step according to the previous procedures. Most young people will go out to meet the Western God on that day, but they are no longer as polite as the old people, setting off firecrackers and bowing, and no longer bringing livestock to meet the Western God, but cars, tractors, agricultural tricycles, motorcycles and electric cars.
Following the custom of welcoming XiShen for many years, this day not only has the symbolic meaning of "welcoming XiShen into the house and wishing him great wealth", but also is a big gathering day for the whole village. Generally, every village will form a relatively fixed place to meet the western gods, and people in the village will go out here to meet the western gods. At this specific time and place, people who work outside, get sick all the year round and don't like to go out can meet them. In addition to asking each other questions and saying congratulations, everyone will also talk about whose life is getting better and better, whose children have been admitted to the university, and whose years have passed beautifully. There is a taboo on this day, that is, no one can say unlucky things.
Young people will also compare their new clothes with each other, who bought a car, who took a mobile phone and who changed a motorcycle. This day is still the day when people see their new wives. The new daughter-in-law who got married in the village the year before last and the people who work outside the home will all go out to visit the Western God, and the villagers can enjoy it unscrupulously. Old ladies, girls and aunts will also comment on new wives. Near noon, the whole village will reluctantly disperse in laughter.
Eight, Fangshan-worship the water god and pray for a bumper harvest.
The customs of Linxian and Fangshan have been displayed since the 29th of the twelfth lunar month, when the traditional ancient temple fair will be held in the county seat. At 8 o'clock in the morning, every household will send their carefully made steamed buns to the temple fair for display, including the zodiac, poultry and livestock, flowers and trees, and pine cranes symbolizing the prosperity of the population. Everything is lifelike. The temple fair will attract many people who buy new year's goods to see whose buns are good and whose craftsmanship is fine.
On New Year's Eve, every household stays up all night, commonly known as "gnawing at the old". When the rooster crows, they start to burn incense, light lamps, set off fireworks and pick up spirits, and then the whole family pays New Year greetings to each other.
On the morning of New Year's Day, local rural families will go to the well to worship the water god. In the village, most of the water flows out from cracks in the rocks. In order to pray for a steady stream of water, the whole village will present a tribute made of white flour in front of the well. On the other hand, children wear flower bags and "necklaces" of red dates, garlic and soybeans around their necks, which means good luck and hope for a bumper harvest all year round.
After worshipping the water god, the yangko team came to power. Most of the villages will perform "Daoqiang Opera" which has been circulating for hundreds of years. The actors are all organized by villagers who like this activity. Many actors are old people in the village and have all kinds of costume props. Accompanied by the fascinating "Taoist drama", a series of activities, such as umbrella-head yangko, rules and regulations, suona performance, constitute the "carnival" of local folk culture here.
Nine, Jiangxian-don't forget to pay homage to your ancestors during the New Year.
Hedong land is the center of Yellow River civilization and the gathering place of Yellow River culture. Therefore, Jinnan has a long tradition of old customs, and there are many. The annual "ancestor worship" in Jiangxian County, commonly known as "god worship", is the most grand.
God painted on a rough scroll painting with a pair of couplets on the left and right, which read "To pursue longevity, all my hearts must be prudent for three years" and criticized "to pursue longevity" horizontally. It means to miss our ancestors. Usually, the paintings of gods are rolled up and stored until the Spring Festival or when there is a wedding at home. It is usually stored and hung in the eldest son's house. After eating jiaozi in the early morning of the New Year's Day, the family set out to "offer God".
Usually, men in a family make arrangements and women don't interfere. After all kinds of offerings were put on the table, the men stood in a row according to their generations, first offering incense, then kowtowing, and then burning paper to propose a toast. You should kowtow to your ancestors three times first, and then the younger generation will pay New Year greetings to the elders. After the New Year, the whole family set off firecrackers in the yard to celebrate. After offering the Lord, I began to go to my neighbor's house to pay a New Year call. When I pay a New Year call, I will also kowtow to my elders and neighbors before the Lord. When you kowtow, you should kowtow to the Lord first, and then you can pay a New Year call. The same is true of visiting relatives.
Ten, Tunliu-the second day grandma's uncle in the third day
In Tunliu County, Chinese New Year is not a day, but a time period, that is, from the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month to the 5th day of the first month of the following year. The 23rd of the twelfth lunar month, commonly known as "off-year", is the time for every household to clean up and the beginning of the new year. Legend has it that at five o'clock on this day, the chef who will keep his family safe for one year will return to the Heavenly Palace to tell the Jade Emperor. He chose to clean up at this time in order not to offend the chef. Since then, people have begun to prepare for the New Year. Grinding bean curd, steamed flower cake, fried dough sticks and chopped dumpling stuffing are four essential items. After intense preparations, on New Year's Eve, after making the final preparations, the family will devote themselves to the last job before the Spring Festival-posting Spring Festival couplets.
On New Year's Eve, the family ate jiaozi, watched the party, cracked melon seeds and talked about their family. Anxious people have begun to invite friends to their homes.
On the first day of the lunar new year, after setting off firecrackers and having breakfast, the exhausted people began to relax completely: men and women played mahjong in a circle to relax; Women besieged the city, talking and laughing; Children wear new clothes and play with each other; Old people get together, reminisce about the past and show their true feelings.
On the second day of the Lunar New Year, people began to visit relatives. Going to grandma's house the next day and going to uncle's house the third day is unchangeable. In a blink of an eye, it was the fifth day. On this day, the whole family, old and young, have dinner together for the "closing ceremony" of the New Year-eating and selling. In this way, even if the Spring Festival is over, more diligent people will start to renovate the used furniture on the ground and plan a new year's plan.
Eleven, the eldest son-Lunar New Year's Day, "Chasing Festival"
The Spring Festival in my hometown is an old movie hanging in a long and narrow memory. Whenever the Spring Festival comes, it is played repeatedly in my mind, giving people kindness and warmth.
As the biggest celebration festival of the year, the Spring Festival in my hometown, Zhangzi County, follows the custom handed down from the times, starting from the 23rd of the twelfth lunar month. On this day, every household presented sesame candy to Kitchen God through a grand ceremony of offering sacrifices to the kitchen stove, hoping that he would "speak well in heaven and return to the palace for good luck" in the coming year. After holding the sacrificial stove, they officially began to prepare for the New Year. Every year from the 23rd of the twelfth lunar month to New Year's Eve, people call it "Spring Festival". Everyone should concentrate on taking a bath, washing and cleaning, get rid of the bad luck of the year, paste the door gods and Spring Festival couplets, and prepare for the upcoming Spring Festival. On New Year's Eve, every family will sit together and watch jiaozi vigil, waiting for the New Year bell to ring. When the clock strikes 0: 00 in the morning, everyone will rush into the yard, and Longhang will set off firecrackers outside the door to ignite the hope and joy of the year.
On the first morning of the first month, every family will get together in the village's land temple to make sacrifices to the land god, hoping for peace and happiness in the year and rolling in financial resources. The next day is the day of offering sacrifices to ancestors. The bride's family who got married in previous years will also come to her daughter's house on this day to pay New Year greetings to her daughter-in-law, commonly known as "chasing festivals". From the first day to the fifth day, everyone will pay New Year greetings to each other and wish each other good luck. The sixth day is the day when the married daughter-in-law returns to her mother's house. From the sixth day, the village will organize "Yangko Team" and "Lions Team" to pay New Year greetings to every household until the Lantern Festival on the fifteenth day of the first month.
Twelve, Datong-Spring Festival is a prosperous fire.
Datong is rich in coal resources, which is bound to have various connections with local people's food, clothing, housing and transportation. Therefore, the role of coal has penetrated into the customs as early as ancient times, and it is a local custom to make a fire.
On New Year's Eve, every family should build a tower with large pieces of coal in front of the courtyard, called Wanghuo, to celebrate its prosperity all year round. Firewood was put in it, and a big red note was written on it, "Anger to heaven". At midnight, when firecrackers are ringing, light a strong fire. After being ignited, the flame spouted from countless small holes, just like a floating picture, which is both warm and spectacular. Adults and children gather in a circle, some play games, some set off firecrackers, and men, women and children will come to keep warm in order to "soar".
Nowadays, the prosperous custom has developed again in Datong. Not only during the Chinese New Year, but also during weddings and funerals on weekdays or major festivals, and some are born in winter to keep warm; Some people are lucky in summer. If the flourishing fire is large in scale and exquisite in shape, then the flourishing fire in the New Year is the most important. It has four characteristics: first, excellent coal preparation. Pre-select high-quality raw coal before the Lantern Festival, dig it out mechanically or manually, and then carefully cut it into neat squares;
Second, the shape is beautiful. Master Gao Ming must be hired to turn Wanghuo into a vase with a small bottom and a big belly, a top and an empty inside. Only in this way can it burn thoroughly and not collapse. Third, it is increasing year by year. In order to achieve a better metaphor year after year, it is required to make a fire every year higher than the previous year. The specific increase depends on the expectations of the owner. Fourth, the scale is huge. Fifty or sixty huge fires are built on the streets of the city every year, and the largest one is made of 80 tons of coal and is 30 feet high, which can be described as huge.
Thirteen, Wenxi-steamed buns for the New Year
During the Chinese New Year, it is essential for people who are happy to smell the flowers to steam steamed buns, which means good luck and good luck all their lives.
The production of steamed buns is very particular. First, select first-class wheat, floating dust, stones, sundries, etc. Screen with an iron sieve slightly larger than the washbasin, then pour it into a container filled with clear water and wash it carefully for two or three times, then pour it into a bamboo basket that can drain water, and then water it. This process is called condensation. It is said that refining can improve the quality of flour and is a link that cannot be underestimated. Mix a proper amount of refined flour into the fermented flour, pour in warm water and stir well, then knead. After kneading the dough, use small scissors, a small comb and other tools to officially knead the dough. There are no teaching materials, and there is no design of kneading steamed bread. They are all taught by generations of artists, and their looks are all in their minds. I saw that they had answers. After some rubbing, twisting, rolling, cutting, pinching, pulling, pressing, picking and rolling, flowers, birds, insects and animals were vividly transformed from their hands.
Once the shape is set, the next step is to wake up the bun, that is, to weaken the bun. Put the kneaded dough plastic products into a kang cage, cover them with a cotton mattress, keep a certain temperature, and steam them in a pot after being inflated. The steaming process is also very learned. Like China's martial arts, there is a set of methods, such as what water is opened on the cage, the cage is sealed, the fire is filled with gas, the steam is divided into large and small parts, and the gas is released from the cage. When you come out of the cage, you should color the food while it is hot, so that the color is bright and not easy to fade. When you are ready to dry, you should use a bamboo stick to combine the auxiliary part with the foil petals. In this way, after stippling, painting, combining and matching, the flour products just sketched out have red leaves and green flowers, Fengxiang fish swimming, snakes roaring and lifelike.
Fourteen, hongdong temple fair is the most lively.
More people in Hongdong than on New Year's Eve began to set off all kinds of fireworks, which resounded through the earth. The guns in the county town are constantly fluctuating, and the louder the fireworks sound, the more it symbolizes the prosperity and good luck in the coming year. On New Year's Eve, there are also various activities-putting thousands (depending on the size of thousands, the number is 2579), setting up a table for heaven and earth, saying goodbye to the old and welcoming the new, and keeping the old and welcoming the new. And such celebrations are one after another.
It is said that the first day of the first month is the birthday of a broom, and people in Hongdong don't use a broom on this day, otherwise it will attract a "broom star" and bring bad luck. If you must sweep the floor, you must sweep it from the outside to the inside. Don't throw water on the garbage on this day, for fear of breaking the money. Clean the yard before New Year's Eve and take out all the rubbish. Hongdong people also avoid knives and equipment during the New Year. On New Year's Eve, they prepared materials for three meals on the first day of the New Year's Eve. Every meal on the first day will be left with leftovers, which should be more than a year.
During the Spring Festival, people are most keen on visiting temple fairs. There are more than 20 temples in Hongtong City, and the most lively places in the Spring Festival every year are: City God Temple, Laoye Temple, Fire Temple, Qianfo Temple, Lvzu Temple, Erlang Temple and Confucian Temple. The temple is decorated with lanterns and colorful incense. Children are attracted by windmills and kites made of colorful paper, tigers and rabbits made of mud, chickens and ducks made of mud, and girls' favorite "wrapping honey", boys' "glass banging" and "sugar blower" are also very popular. Guo Puyu, a folk artist in Subao, Hong Tong, is a descendant of "Sugar Blower", who uses firecrackers broken by hand, also called "smashing guns".
Fifteen, Taigu society flourished.
The first thing that Taigu folks celebrate the Spring Festival is to meet the gods. Originally, it was to welcome the gods of heaven and earth and have fun with the people, but today it has become the main symbol of welcoming the new and resigning the old. The first content is to light a fire, burn grass and set off firecrackers. Wanghuo is in the local hospital, and there is Niancao outside the door, which should be ordered by parents themselves. After getting up, you can't go out rashly. You must first light a firecracker and stick it out of the door before it explodes. This is called an open-circuit gun. Igniting a prosperous fire should be called making a prosperous fire, making a fortune and prospering. Long hair caught fire at home, so the children put on new clothes and set off firecrackers around the fire. Women tidy up the housework and arrange sacrifices for the gods and ancestors of heaven and earth. At this moment, firecrackers are ringing in every village, and the Wan Li sky is ringing.
Happy New Year is the climax of Spring Festival activities. In the old customs, three kneels and nine knocks were emphasized, but now most places bow respectfully, and some only knock on one head. When the younger generation pays a New Year call to the elder, the elder smiles and accepts the gift gladly. After New Year's greetings, the elders should give the younger generation lucky money. The original intention is to protect future generations and bless health. If there is a newly-married daughter-in-law at home, the elders must give the new daughter-in-law lucky money, ranging from tens to hundreds of yuan, depending on their own economic situation. My mother-in-law also wants to give her new wife a piece of fine cloth, hoping that her daughter-in-law will inherit the needle and thread. During the Spring Festival, every family is used to eating jiaozi. Jiaozi homophonic groove is an ancient coin. Jiaozi is shaped like an ingot. Yuanbao is a large gold and silver ingot in ancient times.
Eating jiaozi on New Year's Day means getting rich all the year round. People pay attention to the taboo of blowing cold air when cooking jiaozi, so they don't pull the bellows, but rely on firewood to burn. Burning firewood pays attention to burning sesame stalks. On the one hand, the sweet sound of sesame stalk burning is like a string of rich sounds, and on the other hand, it takes the metaphor of sesame blossom rising day by day. Jiaozi's boiling is said to be earned, not broken. Before eating, you should fire a gun to show your knowledge. The first bowl of rice should be offered to ancestors and gods. After the whole family is seated, parents should be allowed to sit first. The first glass of wine should be made by parents. Don't leave the pot empty when you are filling rice, but leave rice for the pot, which means inexhaustible. Some people eat jiaozi with lotus seeds, which means that it has been more than a year; Jiaozi, who eats red dates, means good luck early; Jiaozi, who is eating a bag of money, said that money is booming.
From the afternoon of the Spring Festival, the traditional village fire or yangko began to be formally performed. First of all, entertain in the village and pay New Year greetings from door to door. The host family will treat them with cigarettes and candy. People who suffered casualties and diseases in the last year should invite the social fire team to perform in the hospital. This is called rushing to play. People who have married their daughters-in-law and given birth to children in the last year should also invite the social fire team to perform in the hospital. This is called celebration. From Xixi and Congxi, the host's hospitality is particularly generous. Our village will go to the neighboring village for activities after the New Year's greetings until the Lantern Festival reaches its climax. People who do not participate in social fire activities engage in entertainment activities such as chess, cards and mahjong. The county will hold a Spring Festival long-distance running activity, with a large number of participants, from the elderly over 60 to the teenagers wearing red scarves, with an unprecedented degree of excitement.
