Can Chinese medicine treat liver cancer metastasis?
Surgical resection is the first choice for treating liver cancer with traditional Chinese and western medicine, but not all patients with liver cancer are suitable for surgery. We should choose the appropriate treatment according to the patient's physical condition, liver function and tumor patients.
After liver cancer surgery or chemotherapy, traditional Chinese medicine has three major functions: (1) It can alleviate the side effects of chemotherapy, improve liver function, enhance immune function, inhibit cancer, and has a strong role in protecting liver and benefiting gallbladder. (2) Preserving more normal liver during operation is beneficial to postoperative recovery. (3) It can eliminate the satellite lesions around the tumor to the maximum extent, and increase the possibility of liver cancer from incurable to treatable.
