The men carried the dragon boat into the water. On the day of the competition, after lunch, all the men who participated in the competition wore bright purple cloth and blue trousers woven at home, a belt woven with silver bubbles around their waist and a yellow ponytail hat with three silver dollars on their heads. Each dragon boat carries thirty or forty people, and four people sit in front of the mother ship: the first one sits at the junction of the dragon boat and the faucet, with his back facing forward, responsible for refueling and shore support. The second man is a middle-aged man, with his back to the front, who is responsible for firing guns to create momentum; The third person is a respected village elder, that is, a drummer, with his back facing forward, wearing a white robe and black vest and a wide-brimmed hat, who is responsible for drumming.

The fourth is a 10-year-old boy dressed as a woman sitting in charge of knocking gongs. On the boy's face, there is a small faucet with a black umbrella to keep out the sun. The rest of the sailors stood in two rows on two submarines. Among the sailors, there is a bucket of glutinous rice with a cooked goose. Three old people are standing at the tail of the mother ship, responsible for mastering the direction of the dragon boat.
