What are the traditional cakes in China?

Chinese cakes are divided into five products, namely, baked products, fried products, steamed products, cooked noodles and other products.

Each product is divided into several categories according to its technical characteristics. For example, baking products are divided into crisp cakes (such as peach cakes), crisp cakes (such as money cakes), crisp crust (such as Beijing Bakuai), pulp crust (such as Cantonese moon cakes), crisp crust (such as jujube paste cakes) and baking products, while steaming products are divided into steamed cakes, rice cakes and bees. There are many famous cakes in China, such as Beijing Bakuai, Tianjin Dadua, Shanghai Gao Qiao Pancake and Hebei Tangshan Honey Sesame Sugar.

Famous China cakes include: Kaifeng Bai Zi Shoutao, Kaifeng Egg Songta, Chengde Flower Rose Cake, Suzhou Daoxiangcun Sesame Cake, Chengde Baizi Paiyu Noodles, Suzhou Tianxiangzao, Suzhou Zongzi Sugar and Tianjin Goubuli Steamed Bun.
