When does The Voice of China start?

The Voice of China started on July 13, 2012.

The Voice of China is an inspirational and professional music review program presented by Zhejiang TV. The Voice of China Season 1 premiered on July 13, 2012 at 21:10 every Friday night on Zhejiang Satellite TV. The program invites celebrity mentors to teach by example, providing a group of musicians with dreams and talents for the development of the Chinese music industry. The four mentors choose their favorite students to form a team through blind auditions, and lead their teams in intra- and inter-team confrontations about music.

The name of the program "The Voice of China" was given by Xia Chenan, the director of Zhejiang TV. The name was initially declared as "The Voice of China" and the original version of the program was called "The Voice of Holland", but the name was rejected due to the fact that there is a radio station in China called "The Voice of China", so Chenan Xia came up with the name "The Voice of China" at the door of the General Administration of Radio, Film and Television.

The success of The Voice of China is not only because it has found one or a few "good voices" who can sing, but also because of its innovation in the organization of the show and the production process. It breaks through the traditional talent show program form, took a new form of the program: the judges are no longer in the simple sense of the judges teacher, the judges have become "mentors"; contestants are no longer at the mercy of the judges eliminated contestants, they can turn around after the mentors to choose the team they want to go.
