1, Horse Milk Festival

Mongolian traditional festivals. It is named after praising horses and drinking koumiss. Mainly popular in Xilingol grassland and Erdos pastoral area in Inner Mongolia. Usually held in late August of the lunar calendar, the date is not fixed and lasts for one or two days.

In order to celebrate the harvest and bless each other, besides preparing enough kumiss, we also entertain guests with a whole lamb mat, hold horse races, invite folk singers to sing greetings, give gifts to old Mongolian doctors, and perform or show movies in Wulan Qi Mu. It is said that Nadam Festival originated from this.

2. Water-splashing Festival

It is a New Year's Festival for Dai, Achang, Bulang, Wa and De 'ang ethnic groups in China and some ethnic groups in Indochina Peninsula. This is the biggest traditional festival of the Dai people in a year. China Dai Festival is held in June and July of the Dai calendar (around 10 days after Tomb-Sweeping Day). Fixed from April 13 to April 15. During the festival, people throw water on each other to bless them, and hold activities such as worshipping Buddha, dragon boat racing, flying high and lighting lanterns.

3. Tool holder joint

This is an annual traditional sports festival for Lisu people in Lunmashan, Yunnan Province. The time is the eighth day of the second lunar month. Knife and pole festival originated from a legend, to commemorate the achievements of Wang Shang, a minister of war who observed the sufferings of border people in the Ming Dynasty.

4.torch festival

It is a traditional festival of Yi, Bai, Naxi, Jinuo and Lahu nationalities. It has a profound connotation of folk culture and is called "Carnival of the East". Different ethnic groups hold Torch Festivals at different times, mostly on June 24th of the lunar calendar. The main activities are bullfighting, goat shooting, cockfighting, horse racing, wrestling, song and dance performances, beauty contests and so on.

5. March Festival

It is a grand festival or street festival for the Bai people. Because it is held every year from March 15th to 21st in the lunar calendar, it is named March Festival.
