Who is the author of poetry? What's the point?

However, he is generally opposed to speaking four tones and meter, which is biased.

The Preface to Poetry also puts forward the view of poetry, that is, emphasizing the combination of fu and xing; The internal wind forces interact with the external Cai Dan. Judging from the style of the poet and his works, he said that Zuo Si's poems were "ironic"; Comments on Cao Zhi's poems, "The spine is extremely high, and the words are taken from Hua Mao", are all accurate. He also pays attention to quoting and praising those colorful and amazing famous sentences, such as Xie Lingyun's poem "Famous chapters and famous sentences rise everywhere"; On Xie Tiao's poem "Strange chapters and beautiful sentences are often precepts".

Because the Book of Songs is mainly four fonts, there is a traditional view of "four fonts". Zhong Rong, on the other hand, thinks that the four-character poems are "difficult to understand and of little significance", while the five-character poems are "the focus of literary words and the flavor of many works", which theoretically opens the way for the development of the five-character poems. For another example, when he talks about the style of every poet, he always points out that he "originated" from someone and pays attention to the influence of his predecessors. There are many penetrating opinions, but there are also far-fetched places.

Zhong Rong emphasized that a good poem should have "taste", which makes people "taste endlessly, and those who smell it are tempted", and "the writing is full of meaning", which was accepted and exerted by many people later, such as Si Kongtu, Su Shi and even Wang Wei, and became the same aesthetic requirement for later poetry and prose creation.
