Understanding of Traditional Confucianism in Senior High School Composition

I take the liberty to tell you that I am a fresh college graduate. At school, I had a brief personal contact with Confucius and Mencius, and I am about to enter the society. I suddenly found that I should add some social and humanistic knowledge to adapt to and understand the current social situation. I also found that the development of this major needs the guidance and irrigation of Confucianism, so I have read some Confucian books recently and have a little feeling. I don't know how to teach you.

There are many sayings in Confucianism that are very true. For example, Confucius said that "three people must have a teacher", "learning without thinking is useless, and thinking without learning is dangerous." Mencius said, "If you get more help from the Tao, you get less help from the Tao." "The weather is not as good as the geographical position, and the geographical position is not as good as people." And so on, many of them conform to materialism and dialectical methods.

I feel that Confucianism mainly talks about the relationship between individuals and others.

That is, teaching: how to get along with others, such as benevolence, righteousness, courtesy, wisdom, faith and the five permanent members.

How do individuals view the differences with others, such as monarch and minister, father and son, husband and wife, three cardinal guides.

Restrain personal desires, impulses, animality, etc. Resist interpersonal contradictions with benevolence and morality, and finally realize peace and harmony between people in the war between countries.

It is said that benevolence is the core. Benevolence is kindness, benevolence, benevolent people love their loved ones, and forgive others with forgiveness. This is a very basic ideological and moral requirement.

It is said that ceremony is the core. Rites are etiquette, etiquette and differences between people, including blood relationship, seniority, age, gender, identity, social status, job position and so on. Ceremony is to embody these and maintain them in order to achieve a stable and orderly social order.

It is said that filial piety is the core. Filial piety is the love and support of children and younger generations to their parents and elders. This is the ideological and moral aspect of the prosperity of human society.

Wait, I'm not sure myself. It is also difficult to tell what is the core.

After reading Darwin's theory of evolution and the animal world, I suddenly found out what a turbulent, cruel and bloody living environment the animal world is. Darwin's evolutionary law of "natural selection, survival of the fittest" in the animal kingdom is not as simple as eight words! It is a naked expression of the strong devouring the weak! ! ! ! ! Jungle animal kingdom! However, people are different from animals. Man is an advanced animal that has evolved. I think primitive society is ignorant, and people have no views on individuals and society. Since the emergence of private ownership, the emergence of the state, the emergence of class opposition, into the slave society. People have opinions and feelings about individuals and society. It's dark. Before Confucianism came into being, it was very similar to the animal kingdom. Emphasize naked bloody struggle, the cruel persecution and rule of the strong on the weak. Confucianism advocates friendship, etiquette, harmony and opposes war. Let people know shame, understand righteousness and reason, improve people's ideological and moral cultivation, and hope to rely on the powerful animal kingdom-the ruling class of human society to get rid of the naked bloody and cruel persecution and rule of the weak animal kingdom-the ruled class of human society. Restrict and supervise with one's own ideology and morality, and everyone's ideology and morality, because the Zhou Dynasty called the emperor the son of heaven, and the princes in the Spring and Autumn Period were also the power and social status under one person and above ten thousand people. It is precisely because there is no force in society that can restrict the power of these two representatives. Therefore, Confucius pinned his hopes on Confucianism, took ideology and morality as human behavior norms, influenced and educated people with honesty and benevolence, and understood the difference between people and animals. People can't wantonly wreak havoc on others and do evil to others like animals. I think the original Confucianism should have these components and functions. Confucianism is a moral principle, which advocates human justice and benevolence, and abandons selfish desires, evil desires, barbarism and struggle. Very progressive and thoughtful.

Because my major in university is law, I must have a thorough understanding and research on China society. For example, Dong Zhongshu in the Eastern Han Dynasty put forward the legal idea of setting prison in the Spring and Autumn Period, that is, trying cases in the Spring and Autumn Period with Confucian classic theory and judging the merits of cases. Why is Confucianism so important and influential? It became the law of feudal society! So I chose Confucianism, Confucius and Mencius, because this belief has a history of more than 2,000 years and has experienced the whole feudal society in China. Its origin, development and peak history have a profound influence and decision on China people. Frankly speaking, one is out of professional and professional needs, the other is out of grasping the pulse of China people today, and the third is out of curiosity about Confucianism to explore its efficacy today.
