Can Math Art Replace Traditional Art

Can Math Art Replace Traditional Art is described as follows:

Digital art will not replace traditional art, especially in the fine arts world. Although digital art has begun to be used in many creative industries, there will always be a market for original, unique artwork handmade by artists.

Now, I fully understand that digital art has made some major strides in the art world (we'll discuss that below). But just like acrylics didn't completely replace oil paintings, digital art will never completely replace traditional media.

Why will traditional art stay?

In a world where we are mass-produced consumers of cabinets, clothes and cookies, people still appreciate one thing: traditional art.

Butter paint is visually appealing, textured and smelly, skillfully applied to roughly woven canvas.

A work of art is unique. It is one-of-a-kind, assembled by real-life human beings: artists!

Admittedly, IKEA makes some pretty sweet paintings, printed on some fine 100% IKEA canvas. There's definitely a market for this. I don't blame people for wanting to buy prints instead of original art.

Art is expensive. It's probably not very high on your list of priorities in life right now.

As the cost of living rises, people will prioritize paying for things like health insurance over buying paintings.

Yes, the popularity of digital printing has risen, but there will always be a need to create (and own) art made in traditional media. Especially because physical artwork from blank canvas/blank paper/blank cave walls has been ingrained in human culture for thousands of years.

The advent of digital art is great, but it's just another medium developed by humans. Millions of artists will use digital art from now on, but it will never completely replace traditional art.
